Abstract: Process for dyeing mesh fabrics and woven fabrics, made from cellulose fibers and mixed yarns thereof, in rope form on a winch beck or jet dyeing apparatus by the exhaustion method at a short liquor ratio in the presence of at least one auxiliary, using an aqueous liquor containing dyes or dye precursors which are suitable for the type of fiber and optionally fixing chemicals, wherein dyeing is carried out at a liquor ratio of 1:3 to 1:8 (on the weight of the dry goods) and 2-8 g/l of an anionic or non-ionic, aliphatic softener are used, on its own or as a mixture, as the auxiliary.

Abstract: 1275142 Supported olefin polymerization catalyst FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 21 Aug 1969 [21 Aug 1968 6 June 1969] 41828/69 Heading C3P Olefins are polymerized in the presence of (a) the reaction product of a magnesium alcoholate, mainly acting as a carrier, and a tetravalent halogen-containing titanium compound and (b) an organo-aluminium compound. The titanium compound may be prepared in situ for reaction with the magnesium compound. The magnesium alcoholate may include halogen, sulphate, carboxylate or hydroxy groups. The alcoholate may be reacted with other inert inorganic compounds, particularly magnesium compounds containing hydroxy groups, prior to reaction with the titanium compound. The mixture of magnesium compounds may be obtained by directly mixing or by partial hydrolysis of the magnesium alcoholate. In examples, Mg(OCH 3 ) 2 , Mg(OC 2 H 5 ) 2 or mixtures thereof with Mg(OH) 2 are reacted with TiCl 4 , TiCl 4 / Ti(O - i - C 3 H 7 ) 4 mixture, TiCl 4 /Ti(O - i- C 4 H 9 ) 4 mixture, or TiCl 2 (O-i-C 3 H 7 ) 2 and then mixed with Al(i-C 4 H 9 ) 3 , Al(C 2 H 5 ) 3 , Al(C 2 H 5 ) 2 H, or Al 2 Cl 3 (C 2 H 5 ) 3 and the catalysts used to polymerize ethylene or an ethylene/butene mixture.

Olefin polymers are made by polymerizing ethylene alone or in admixture with up to 10%, of a higher alpha-olefin having 3 to 15 carbon atoms in solution, suspension, or the gaseous phase, at a temperature in the range of 20 to 250 C., in presence of hydrogen, and under a pressure up to 10 atmospheres and in the presence of as catalyst a mixture of from 0À05 to 0À3 millimole of a trivalent chlorine-containing compound per litre of dispersing agent or solvent, or per half litre of reaction volume, if the polymerization is carried out in the gaseous phase, and an organo-aluminium compound in amount corresponding to from 0À1 to 3À0 millimoles of aluminium equivalent per litre of dispersing agent, solvent, or reaction volume. The organoaluminium compound is selected from, (a) a compound of the formula AlR 1 3 where R 1 represents a C 4 to C 40 hydrocarbon radical or (b) a reaction product of a trialkylaluminium compound or an alkylaluminium hydride with a diolefin having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, e.g. triisobutyl Al and isoprene (polymeric isoprenyl aluminium). The trivalent chlorine-containing Ti-compound is preferably obtained by reducing a compound of the formula Ti(OR) 4-n Cl n where n is 1 to 4, and R represents a C 2 to C 8 hydrocarbon radical, with an alkyl Al sesquichloride, and/or a dialkyl Al monochloride, and/or isoprenyl Al at a temperature in the range of - 60 to +70C., and if desired heat-treating and washing the product. The monomers polymerized are purified with a copper catalyst. Exemplified polymers are polyethylene, and a copolymer of ethylene and butene-1.
