Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply system and a rack-mounted computer system including the DC power supply system having improved redundancy for supplying a computer system with electric power. SOLUTION: The power supply system 10 comprises a plurality of rack- mounted enclosures 14 to 16, at least one power supply device 12a to 14d disposed in the enclosures 14 to 16, and a means for generating, among the plurality of enclosures, a power supply route between the power supply devices so as to provide a redundant structure, if a fault of the power supply device is detected. The power supply device 12a comprises a monitor means 22a for monitoring the output of other power supply device and a switching means 46a for changing a power supply system depending on the output of the monitor means 22a, and is connected to other power supply device through a bus line 20. The bus lines 20 establishes ring or star connections between the power supply devices, thus providing the redundant structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gene analysis information, while protecting privacy. SOLUTION: An inquiry from the user 100 to a gene analysis system 104, having gene analysis information, is performed via an accounting system 103, and the accounting system 103 transfers the gene analysis information from the gene analysis system 104 to the user 100, using a via address which is set dynamically. Moreover, the gene analysis information is coded in the gene analysis system 104, and it is arranged, so that it cannot decoded by the accounting system 103. In this way, in the gene analysis system 104, the user 100 cannot be specified, and in the accounting system 103, the contents of the gene analysis information cannot be recognized, thus the privacy of the user 100 is protected.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protective circuit which can reduce the current to the following stage as much as possible by detecting an abnormality as quickly as possible even when the capacity of a power supply or its load is large. SOLUTION: This is an overcurrent protective circuit 4 used in a power supply which has a main power supply circuit 2 and a sub-power supply circuit 3 to output a sub-power supply voltage before the main power supply circuit 2 outputs its voltage. And it is made possible to detect the state that the main voltage Vout is rising but still lower than the reference voltage, using the rise characteristics of the reference voltage from the sub-power supply voltage and the main voltage Vout.
