Abstract: PURPOSE: To stop equipment from being detached when a device itself is locked and enables the equipment to easily be detached when not locked by stopping a lid from being detached through operation with a movable body when a lock body is projected from a housing. CONSTITUTION: When a slider 26, i.e., plate (movable body) 60 is moved, the lock body 20A comes out of the housing 2 through an insertion opening 62. A projection 70 of the lid 2A is in a groove 66 of the plate 60 and this plate 60 locks the lid 2A. Consequently, the lid 2A can not be detached from an HDD dismounting part 2E, so nothing can be detached in the housing 2. Thus, the movement of the housing 2 is restrained by using a keyhole 20B of the lock body 20A projecting out of the housing 2 and anything can be prevented from being taken out of the housing 2. When the plate 60 is moved until the lock body 20A enters the housing 2, the lid 2A can be detached from the HDD dismounting part 2E since the projection 70 is released from the groove 66 of the plate 60.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the necessary inclination of a keyboard by fitting a recessed part of a foot member to end parts of recessed part of a bottom part when a keyboard slides over a receiving surface containing the curved surface of the tip part of the foot member formed at the bottom part and turns up to the mounting surface of an electronic equipment. CONSTITUTION:The foot members 12A and 12B are held in parallel to a keyboard 10 and the recessed parts 24A and 24B of the members 12A and 12B are fitted with the end parts 34A and 34B of a recessed part of a bottom part 14. Thus the first tilt angle of the keyboard 10 is set. Then the members 12A and 12B are turned by 90 deg. and the second tilt angle of the keyboard 10 is set. Thus the necessary inclination of the keyboard 10 is secured when the keyboard 10 turns up to the mounting surface of an electronic equipment from the upright state of the keyboard 10.

Abstract: To provide an enclosure having a body and a cover, in which the cover can be opened even if an operation for releasing the state where the cover is latched with the body and an operation for lifting the cover itself are not practiced simultaneously, the present invention provides an engaging member being movable or transformable, in the state where a cover is closed, between an engaging position where the cover is engaged with said body and a releasing position where the cover is not engaged with the body, being forced to move or transform from said releasing position to said engaging position, and being provided to one of the cover and the body, and lock means for preventing said engaging member from moving from said releasing position to said engaging position in spite of said force when said engaging member is moved from said engaging position to said releasing position in the state where the cover is closed, and for allowing said engaging member to move from said releasing position to said engaging position when the cover is opened so that it becomes unnecessary to practice an operation for releasing a latch and an operation for lifting the cover simultaneously when the cover is opened by keeping the engaging member in the releasing position by means of said lock means and thus keeping the state where the latch is released when the engaging member is moved from the engaging position to the releasing position.

Abstract: Electronic apparatus (2) with a movable keyboard (10), in which the keyboard can be mounted in position in a case (8) for the apparatus in such a manner that the surface of the keyboard on which the keys are mounted faces towards the inside of the case, comprises a pair of leg members (12A,12B), one of which is provided on one side of the keyboard and the other of which is provided on the other side of the keyboard and a bottom portion (14) formed in the case. The apparatus is characterised in that each of the leg members has an end (22A,22B) forming a curved surface and a recess (24A,24B) formed continuously with the curved surface, and a pair of recesses (18A, 18B) are formed one at each side of the bottom portion, each of which has a receiving surface (32A, 32B) on which the curved surface of the end of a respective one of the leg members can slide and rotate, and a projection (34A, 34B) capable of fitting into the recess in the leg member. With such an arrangement, when the keyboard is pivoted from its position within the case to a surface (50) on which the electronic apparatus is positioned, about a predetermined point (100) of each leg member as a fulcrum by sliding and rotating the curved surface of the end of each leg member on the receiving surface formed on the corresponding recess formed in the bottom portion, the recess in each leg member is fitted into the corresponding projection in the bottom portion to provide a predetermined inclination for said keyboard relative to said surface.
