Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a structure which enables dispensing with the opening of a cover such that the operation of releasing a latched state and the lifting up the cover can be performed at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A retainer 10 is provided on one of a cover 2 and a main part 1. Further, a locking means which, when the retainer 10 is moved from a retaining position to a releasing position, prevents the retainer 10 from being moved from the releasing position to the retaining positions. Further, when the cover 2 is opened, the retainer 10 is allowed to be moved from the releasing position to the retaining position is provided. When the retainer 10 is moved from the releasing position to the releasing position for opening the cover 2, the retainer 10 is kept at the releasing position and the released state of the latch can be kept.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a cover body at a prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole of an information processor. SOLUTION: The light transmission plate of an LCD unit 20 has a wedge shape (thin part 22A). A pair of hinges 26 which connect the cover body to a device main body so that it can turn are arranged in a space part formed between the thin part 22A and a rear cover. The hinges 26 are constituted by winding the torque plate 30B of the other fitting piece 39 to a shaft 36 fixed to one fitting piece 28. Thus, the hinges 26 can generate a small and high torque when compared with the hinge of a torque plate press contact type. Thus, the cover body can securely be held at the prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To control the arbitrary removing of an information processing equipment housed within a device main body regardless of the operation of an injection button, etc., and to realize this by simple constitution and at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A catch 88 is freely attachably and detachably provided a card insertion part 80 housing a PCMCIA card 84. This catch 88 corresponds to the PCMCIA card 84 in a loading state and is capable of preventing the taking out of the PCMCIA card 84. In addition the catch 88 is covered with a keyboard 22 in the state of closing. Consequently which using selectively the catch 88, the removing of the catch 88 is prevented by closing the keyboard 22 and the taking out of the PCMCIA card 84 from the card insertion part 80 is prevented. The taking out of the PCMCIA card 84 is controlled by the single catch 88 regardless of the operation of the injection button 86.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce a space for installing components by adding engaging means to a rocking means operated at the time of loading/unloading operation so as to surely load an equipment within a main body. CONSTITUTION: At the time of loading the equipment usable for an information processor (an HDD pack, e.g.) 38 within the main body of the information processor, the equipment 38 is held by a holding means. Next, the locking means 64 of the equipment 38 is operated under this state to rock the rocking means 64 to be engaged with the engaging means 72 and 74. As the result of this effect, the equipment 38 is surely loaded within the main body. At the time of unloading the equipment 38 from the main body, on the other hand, the rocking means 64 is rocked in a direction opposite to that at the time of the rocking operation to release the engaging state of the rocking means 64 and the engaging means 72 and 74. Thereby the number of the points of parts is reduced to reduce the space for installing the parts.

SOLUTION: When this device is slid backward with a button 62 pressed down by a user's thumb, a 1st horizontal rib 80 which exists under a flange 82 of a frame 20 is moved, and keeping a whole click button member 38 pressed down locks the device in its on state. At this time, a 2nd horizontal rib 86 which extends forward from the button 62 is simultaneously slid backward from a bottom face of a wrist support part 20a, thereby, appearing a top face 88 to which is added the bright color of the rib 86. The user can recognize the lock on state by the downward slant of the member 38 and the appearance of a brightly colored top face 88. While the member 38 is locked in its drag position, the user can drag an icon, etc., on a display with a joy stick, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A notebook type personal computer has a conductive contact part material 304 that is connected with the reference electric potential part of the personal computer main body inside a pair of recess parts 302 that are formed on the bottom separated from a connector, and a docking device has a conductive retaining riece 135A which is connected with the reference electric potential part of the docking device main body and can frequent from an opening 130A inside the opening 130A which is formed at the position that corresponds to the recess parts 302 of the personal computer when the personal computer is completely mounted. As the contact part material 304 and the retaining riece 135A are mounted on the position which is separated from the connector, the electric potential difference between the personal computer and the docking device can be removed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an information processor controlling the removing of an information processing equipment housed within a device main body without permission and realizing this by simple structure and at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: An HDD pack 34 housed in the main body 12 is provided with a movable piece 62 and slides in the state of being housed within the main body 12 to be projected to the outside of the main body. In addition, this movable piece 62 can be engaged to the engaging hole 30 of the engaging projection 28 in the closing state of a keyboard 22. In addition, a catch 88 covered with a keyboard 22 can be fixed to a card insertion part 80 to be engaged with a PCMCIA card 84 within the card insertion part 80 in a loading state to prevent this from being unloaded. Consequently, by closing the keyboard 22 and sliding the movable piece 62 to properly lock, the opening of the keyboard 22, namely the unloading of devices such as the HDD pack 34 and the catch 88 (namely the PCMCIA card 84) are prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an inclining device having simple structure and easy to assemble by arranging an operation part for easily executing sliding operation along the supporting shaft of a leg member on a part exposed from the recess of the leg member. CONSTITUTION: The operation part 50 is arranged on an external face 20B to be the exposed part from the recess 14 of the leg member 20. The operation part 50 consists of a non-slip surface working part 50A, an operating recessed part 50B and an operating projection part 50C. The working part 50A is formed by stripe engraving work or the like applied on almost the whole external surface 20B. The projection part 50C is a finger putting part to be used in sliding the leg member 20 by a finger tip. The recess 50B is increased in the substantial height of the projection part 50C so that a finger tip can easily be put on the projection part 50C. Since an operating member different from the leg member itself is not projected to the side face or the like of the computer body, the device is conveniently carried or stored.
