PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow accurately collecting components in a wide range from low volatile components to high volatile components without a complicated structure and obtaining a high quantitative property in an analysis of all components in an aroma from flowering grasses, etc. SOLUTION: The components in the wide range from the low volatile components to the high volatile components are accurately collected by combining an adsorbing method (an adsorbing pipe 4) and a canister method (a canister 6) and complementing each other.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume material having strong animal-like aroma and high versatility. SOLUTION: The perfume material is composed of an unsaturated fatty acid represented by general formula (1) and having carbon atoms of 6-8, or its salt. A perfume composition contains the perfume material in an amount of 0.00001-10 mass%. Household products, cosmetic products and environmental hygiene products containing the perfume composition are also provided. SOLUTION: The indicator for determining a damp-dry odor contains at least one type selected from a group comprising a carboxylic acid derivative, where an atom or an atomic group is introduced to a carboxylic acid expressed by a general formula (1) and a carboxy group of the carboxylic acid. The damp-dry odor determination method uses the carboxylic acid or its derivative as an index. The pseudo damp-dry odor composition contains the carboxylic acid. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a judge index agent comprising a substance suitable as the index of the presence and intensity of a menstrual blood smell, a false menstrual blood smell composition capable of objectively and quantitatively judging the effectiveness of a deodorant without using the human body and an evaluation method of the masking effect of the menstrual blood smell due to a subject using the substance as an index or the deodorizing effect of a deodorant. SOLUTION: The judge index agent of a menstrual blood smell comprises at least one kind of a sulfur-containing compound or its derivative and the false menstrual blood smell composition contains at least one kind of the sulfur-containing compound or its derivative.
