Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a still durability and an electrification proofness to be increased for high-density recording by cladding an alumina thin film which originates in alumina sol on a surface of a magnetic layer when forming the magnetic layer on a non-magnetic support as a magnetic recording medium.
