    Abstract: A hardenable resinous mass comprises (a) a resin prepd by urethane reaction of (I) an unsatd. polyester (acid number 20, OH-number 80-150) obtd by reacting A mol of >=1 of maleic, fumaric, itaconic acid or maleic anhydride and (1-A) mol. adipic acid (where A=0.15-0.70) with 1.0-1.6 mol. of a diol HO-(-CH(X)-CH2-O-)n where n=integer 1-4 and X is H or Me; with (II) tolyele diisocyanate and/or diphenyl-methane-diisocyanate, in presence of (III) a satd. 2-8C aliph. diol; the wt, ratio (III):(I) being 0.05:1-0.35:1, and (I), (II) and (III) being employed in amts such tat the number of isocyanate gps is at most equimolar to the number of OH-gps gps of (I) and (III); and (b) a polymerisable monomer (e.g. styrene, MMA), the wt ratio (a):(b) being 30:7-85:15. Used in mfr. of non-slip floorings and road-surfacings having good flexibility and binding characteristics and low tendency to cracking and delamination from a substrate.
