The present invention relates to a solution for allocating an elevator car in an elevator system. In the solution a destination call is received from a user and an elevator car is allocated to the user on the basis of the destination call received. The invention is characterized in that in conjunction with a destination call a categorization expression is received from the user, and in that the categorization expression given by the user is taken into account in allocating an elevator car.
Abstract:
Modern large buildings and public places are equipped with a plurality of elevators, exits and points of interest for fluent movement. The passenger flows in a building or public place can be traced and modelled by using statistics and information regarding current state of the modelled building or public place. The information derived from this model can be used for controlling elevators, escalators and similar in the building more efficiently. The same information may be used also for guiding passengers in the building or public place to use other transportation means so that the duration high traffic situation can be reduced or sometimes completely avoided.

Method for handling erroneous calls in an elevator system, which includes at least one elevator, call-giving devices for registering calls on the floor levels and/or in the elevator car, and also a control system that responds to the aforementioned calls. One or more calls given by a passenger are registered, it is assessed on the basis of at least one criterion whether some call is erroneous, and at least one corrective action is performed for removing a call, or for rectifying the call data of a call, if the call is ascertained to be erroneous on the basis of the aforementioned criterion.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zum Schließen von Türen eines Aufzuges, der zumindest einen Aufzugsschacht (1, 1a, 1b), eine Kabine (10, 20), die entlang von Führungsschienen (3, 3a, 3b) in den Schacht (1, 1a, 1b) verfährt und mit einer Kabinentür (9a) ausgerüstet ist, sowie mit Geschosstüren (17a) zu jeder Geschossebene (4, 4a, 4b) aufweist, ferner eine Hebemaschine (14, 24), ein erforderliches Seilsystem und eine Schachtausrüstung, sowie ein Steuersystem (10a) zum Steuern der Aktivitäten des Aufzuges. Gemäß on Verkehrssituationen, die durch das Steuersystem (10a) des Aufzuges gesteuert werden, wird die Tür-Öffnungsdauer der Kabinentüren (9a) und Geschosstüren (17a) reduziert, indem der Schließvorgang der Türen (9a, 17a) beschleunigt wird und gleichzeitig die Fahrgäste über diese Beschleunigung informiert werden.

The present invention discloses a method for controlling an elevator system. In the method an elevator is allocated for the use of a passenger in a first optimization phase in such a way that a first cost function is minimized, a second optimization phase is performed, in which the route of the allocated elevator is optimized in such a way that a second cost function is minimized.
