Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a four-way valve for refrigerating cycle by sliding a cylindrical slide valve having a tunnel-like passage intersecting perpendicularly to the sliding direction by a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 34 sucked by a solenoid 31 is connected to a slider 26 formed on slide valves 24, 25 having a tunnel-like passage intersecting perpendicularly to the sliding direction. A return spring 35 is provided between a slider 31 and a lid 30 of a valve casing, thereby urging the slide valves 24, 25, in the opposite direction to the sucking direction of the solenoid 31. The pressure of a fluid introduced in the tunnel-like passage of the slide valves 24, 25 through the first and second passing ports 20b, 20c does not act in the sliding direction of the slide valves 24, 25, so that the slide valves 24, 25 are reliably operated by the suction force of the solenoid 31 and the elastic force of the return spring 35.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the thermal quantity leaked from a four-way valve in warming by installing a discharge pipe connected to the discharge side of a compressor to the cylinder edge part and installing a connecting pipe for interior device onto the cylinder side wall closest to the discharge-pipe connecting edge. CONSTITUTION:Among four connecting pipes which are arranged in opened form into a cylinder 16 into which a spool valve 25 having two pressure receiving parts 25a and 25c and a hollow introducing hole 25e are accommodated, a discharge pipe 18 connected to the discharge side of a compressor 19 is installed onto the cylinder edge part, and a connecting pipe 21 for interior device is installed onto the cylinder side wall closest to the discharge pipe connection edge. Since the high temperature and high pressure gas introduced from the discharge pipe 18 is introduced into the connecting pipe 21 for interior device in the shortest distance in the valve, only the outside space P of the first sheet valve 25b of the spool valve 25 in the cylinder 16 is charged, and the heat exchange area with the low-temperature low-pressure gas side is small, consisting of only the area of the first sheet valve 25b of the spool valve 25.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve ability of room cooling and heating further contriving the lightness of weight and the smallness of size by forming a tunnel-shaped flow path in a holder, moving it in a cylinder axial direction by a solenoid, selecting a flow hole respectively communicating with suction or delivery port, switching a refrigerant passage, reducing a heat loss and improving system efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In an internal surface of a cylinder 16 serving as the valve main unit, a valve seat 16a, having a suction port 16e connected to a delivery side of a compressor 101, and a valve seat 16d, juxtaposing in the axial direction flow holes 16f, 16g respectively connected to an out-room device 103 and an in-room device 102, are parallelly provided with each other. Simultaneously, a delivery port 16a, connected to a suction side of the compressor 101, is provided in a side wall 16f put between valve seats 16a, 16b. Next, sliders 22, 23, adapted to and sealing the valve seats 16a, 16b, are stored in both ends, and a holder 26, forming a tunnel-shaped flow path 19a, is moved by a solenoid 31 in the axial direction of the cylinder 16. Thus selecting the flow holes 16f, 16g respectively communicating with the suction port 16e or the delivery port 16a, a refrigerant passage is formed so as to be switched.
