    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy by reducing heat entering from an external part, in heat insulating constitution of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: A heat insulating door 46 is openably situated at the front opening part of a heat insulating box body 39, having a storage chamber 55 constituted at its internal part and the thickness of the heat insulating wall of a planar part 51 of the heat insulation door positioned opposite to a planar part 41 of the front edge of the heat insulating box body is decreased to a value lower than the reference heat insulation wall thickness of the heat insulating door 46 fronting on the interior of the refrigerating chamber 55. The front end part of the heat insulating box body 39 is cut through the reference wall thickness of the heat insulating door 46 and the distance of a throat 59 consisting of the front side of an inner box 44 and the outer side of a door inner plate 48 is lengthened, and penetration of outside air heat is decreased and energy is saved.

Moreover, the throat can be sealed without fail without marring the durability of the of the seal member or the operability of the opening and closing of the door. Moreover, the fine view of the side rises, and the outward appearance improves. Furthermore, a sense of oppression at opening of the door is dissolved, and the interior can be made to look wide.

A seal member 60 to seal the throat 59 is provided. This constitution reduces a quantity of heat transferred and penetrating from the outer box 40 to a flange 42. Further, an amount of heat flowing through the throat 59 is also reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the applied effect of an air circulating duct and a blower and improve a protective effect for drying food by usually operating an air circulating blower at the time of stop of a compressor, continuously operating it at high rotating speed at the time of quick cooling, and resetting it to ordinary rotating speed after the lapse of prescribed time. SOLUTION: During the operation of a compressor 22 and a blower 21, cold air is discharged from the end parts of both faces in the back of respective stages of a refrigerating chamber 17 and the end parts are precedently cooled, so that temperature distribution is averaged crosswise the respective stages of the refrigerating chamber 17. During the stop of the compressor 22 and the blower 21, upper and lower air is changed through an air circulating duct 28 due to an agitating action caused by the operation of an air circulating blower 29, temperature distribution is averaged vertically in the refrigerating chamber 17, and odor components are efficiently recovered and adsorbed by a deodorizing means 34 in the duct 28. The air circulating blower is continuously operated at high rotating speed during quick cooling and reset to ordinary rotating speed after the lapse of a prescribed time, so that food can be prevented from being frozen by supercooling the food and the food can be protected.
