Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sure fitting and sealing performance at the time of a communicating pipe of a suction muffler in an insert hole of a cylinder head. SOLUTION: A communicating pipe 15 provided with a screw part is screwed in an insert hole 17a of a cylinder head 17 provided with a screw part, and placed on the upper flat surface 17b in such a manner as to clamp an elastic seal body 16 between the back 14 of a circular flange part 12 provided on the communicating pipe 15 and tone upper flat surface part 17b of the insert hole 17a, whereby the communicating pipe 15 and the insert hole 17a are fixed to each other more surely, and the sealing performance can be improved by the elastic seal body 16 sandwiched between the circular flange part 12 and the cylinder head.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a compressor by providing a cooling path having the lower end extended vertically and both ends opened into an enclosed container near the compression chamber of a compression element, while providing a projection above the cooling path in the enclosed container so that an upper opening of the cooling path is positioned below the projection. CONSTITUTION:One end of a stay 18 is fixedly welded to an enclosed case 1 and the other end is disposed in a position adjacent to the upper opening of a cooling path 19. High temperature and pressure refrigerant gas fill a space 17 within an enclosed container and dissolving oil 21 and the oil 21 floating in the space 17 collide with the stay 18, so that these drop from the stay 18 and the oil drops flow in the cooling path 19. As a result, a compression chamber 9 is cooled from the proximity of a compression chamber 9 so that temperatures of exhaust gas and suction gas are reduced. Thus, the volume efficiency of the compressor is improved to provide the high efficiency compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and detachably hold a motor protector at the time of incorporating a compressor by directly engaging an insertion terminal secured to the protector composed of a metal case with the pin terminal of a sealed terminal. CONSTITUTION:In a compressor having the mounting structure of a motor protector 4, the protector 4 is attached to a sealed terminal 6 secured to a sealed vessel 3, and disposed between the leads 8 extended from the winding end 5 of a motor 2 and the terminal 6. A motor-driven compressor 1 is set in the vessel 3 at the time of incorporating the sealed compressor, and an insertion terminal 13 secured to the protector 4 is engaged with a connection terminal 13 provided at the pin terminal 10 of the terminal 6. The leads 8 from the motor 2 are connected through a pin insertion terminal 15 to the protector 4 and the terminal 10. Thus, the longitudinal axial direction of the protector 4 is attached substantially perpendicularly to the terminal 10 to facilitate the attachment and the detachment of the protector 4 and to reduce the containing space of the protector 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely protect a motor from overheat in an electric apparatus in which both a thermally-operated PTC element used for driving a motor in a closed compressor and the overload protector of the motor are mounted integrally by mounting another thermally-operated PTC element which is electrified when the overload protector operates in this protector. CONSTITUTION:In a motor apparatus 4 which is tightened to the body of a closed type compressor via a bracket and shielded with a protector cover, both the overload protector 16 of a motor and a thermally-operated PTC element 23 used for driving the motor are mounted integrally in a body case 12. In this case, the secondary thermally-operated PTC element 24 sticks to the overload protector 16 with bond 25. Said thermally-operated elements 24 is connected to the overload protector 16 by performing the spot weldings 24a and 14c on said element to join one polar terminal thereof to a sub heater 17 and the other terminal to a terminal 3. The motor can then be protected from overheat surely by controlling said secondary element 24 to electrify and heat it when the overload protector 16 is operated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To supply lubricating oil reliably into a cylinder by providing an oil reservoir in a valve plate and supplying the lubricating oil from the oil reservoir to a suction passage through a lubricating oil passage by suction vacuum pressure and dead weight so that suction resistance of the lubricating oil is reduced. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a cylinder 5 and a piston which reciprocates on the inside face of the cylinder 5 in the horizontal direction. An oil reservoir 5a is formed on an upper face of the outside circumference of the cylinder 5, the upper face being located at a position higher than the piston. In addition, an oil reservoir hole 7a is formed in a valve plate 7 and the oil reservoir hole 7a communicates with the oil reservoir 5a through a passage 5b. A slot 14 is formed which communicates from the oil reservoir hole 7a to a suction passage 7b thereby to supply lubricating oil through the slot 14 by dead weight and vacuum pressure in the suction passage 7b.

A signal is transmitted from an external temperature sensor 19 to the capacitance control part 18.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a starting load at the time when a rotary compressor is operated again and enable a stable and smooth starting of the operation of the compressor to be attained by a method wherein a cooling device of a freezing cycle and a storing device for accumulating oil of a freezer between a check valve and a suction pipe in a low pressure pipe passage for connecting a suction pipe of the rotary compressor are provided. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary compressor 1 is stopped, a pressure differential valve 19 is also closed as a check valve 20 of a fluid control valve 19 is closed, so that refrigerant gas of high pressure is accumulated in a condensor 16, a closed container 2 and an accumulator 31. At this time, since the accumulator 31 is separated from the rotary compressor 1, its temperature is low as compared with that of the closed container 2. Refrigerant started to resolve in the oil of freezer of the accumulator 31 and a pressure of refrigerant remained in a space across the rotary compressor restarts its operation, a pressure of the refrigerant gas across the rotary compressor is restricted low, so that a starting load is reduced and a stable smooth starting can be carried out.
