    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make common use of a press winding line when a single phase induction electric motor is manufactured by forming a stator electromagnetic steel plate of a single phase induction electric motor part housed in a sealed case in an external shape according to output, and forming a slot shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate in a specific shape regardless of its external shape. SOLUTION: In a stator of a single phase induction electric motor part, a stator core formed by fitting and laiminating an almost rectangular stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is provided as a main member, and a main winding and an auxiliary winding arranged in a 90 deg. position to the main winding, are wound round this. A large slot 26 in which the main winding is installed and a small slot 27 in which the auxiliary winding is installed, are formed in respective stator electromagnetic steel plates 23, but when a high output type sealed compressor is manufactured, a stator electromagnetic steel plate 32 by enlarging a shape of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23 without changing a shape of the large slot 26 and the small slot 27 of the stator electromagnetic steel plate 23, is applied. Therefore, common use of a press winding line of the stator electromagnetic steel plate can be realized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce starting load by providing an oil blocking board at the bottom part of a closed container so as to form an independent oil reservoir, and providing this oil blocking board with plural communicating holes as well as providing at least one of these communicating holes with a valve, thereby delaying the foaming vaporization of refrigerant dissolved in refrigerant oil at the time of resuming the operation of a compressor. CONSTITUTION:An oil blocking board 15 is rigidly fixed to a closed container 2 to form an oil reservoir 17 disposed in refrigerator oil 5 stored at the bottom part of the closed container 2 in such a way as to be independent of the closed container 2, and sealed oil 18 in this oil reservoir 17 is communicated with the refrigerator oil 5 in the closed container 2 by a large diameter communicating hole 16 and small diameter holes 20. A valve 19 is rigidly fixed to the oil reservoir 17 side of the oil blocking board 15 so as to cover the communicating hole 16. This valve 19 is formed in such a way as to stop the flow of the refrigerator oil 5 into the closed container 2 from the oil reservoir 17. The foaming vaporization of refrigerant dissolved in the refrigerator oil at the time of resuming the operation of a closed compressor can be thereby delayed to reduce starting load.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve both reliability and performance of a rotary compressor by constituting at least one of the vane and roller of a whisker reinforced metal composite material compositely reinforced by ZnO whiskers. CONSTITUTION:Both members of a roller 10 and vane 11 are constituted of a whisker reinforced metal composite material compositely reinforced with ZnO whiskers. The ZnO whiskers 15 of composite reinforcement are tetrapod- shaped single crystals. Metals applied to a matrix and alloys of aluminum, magnesium, titanium, etc. The ZnO whisker reinforced composite metal improves remarkably the mechanical strength and antiwear property with the uniform dispersion of ZnO whiskers in addition to the proper lightness of aluminum alloy, while providing the same coefficient of linear expansion as that of cast iron. Further, since the ZnO whisker is the wedge-shaped and tetrapod-like single crystal, the structure after press casting and solidification becomes one uniform in the three dimensional directions so that phenomena such as abnormal wear and defective slide accompanying the component segregation do not take place.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a starter by installing a connecting terminal onto one of the pin terminals outside a sealed container through a sealed terminal fixed onto the sealed container. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized starter 9 having a connecting terminal 8 and a connecting terminal 10 are installed outside the sealed container 4 of a sealed terminal 5 fixed onto the sealed container 4. One side of a supplied electric power is connected with the connecting terminal 10 and a pin terminal 11 through a motor protecting device 3, and the other is branched through the connecting terminal 8, and one is connected with a main winding through the pin terminal 11 and the other is connected with a starter coil. Therefore, the connecting terminal for the starter can be removed, and the dimension can be reduced, and the quantity of necessary parts can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic of an electric motor, by interposing a magnetically shielding plate, which is integrally formed with a stator iron core consisting of a non-magnetic material, between the stator iron core and a casing and fixing the both stator iron core and casing by bolts so that the leakage of magnetic flux to the casing is reduced. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor 6 fixes its stator iron core 7 to be tightened to a casing 3 by bolts 8 while provides a magnetically shielding plate 10, which is formed integrally with the stator iron core 7 consisting of non-magnetic material, to the interposed between the stator iron core 7 and a mounting surface of the casing 3. By this constitution, the leakage of magnetic flux, which detours into the casing 3 through its mounting surface from the stator iron core 7, is reduced, and the electric motor, in which the magnetic flux generated in the stator iron core 7 effectively communicates with the opposed stator iron core 7 through a rotor 13, improves an electric motor characteristic.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To display the characteristics of an electric motor effectively by electrically insulating a stator and a bolt of the electric motor. CONSTITUTION:In fastening and fixing a stator 7 of an electric motor to a casing 3 with a bolt 8, a washer 9 is interposed. The washer 9 is composed of outer layers 9a and 9c made of metal and an electric insulator 9b put between the outer layers 9a and 9c thereof. With the outer layers 9a and 9c the washer 9 is protected from the external force applied in fastening the bolt 8. Thus the short circuit can be broken between the casing, bolt and motor stator end face,so that the characteristics of the motor can be displayed effectively without obstructing the electromagetic induction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sufficiently lubricate an intake valve, a discharge valve, a cylinder and so on by shaping an oil sump and a passage in a cylinder wall and also shaping an oil sump groove in a piston. CONSTITUTION:When a pinton 6 reaches a point adjacent to the lower dead point center, the oil sump 6a of a the piston 6 and the passage 5a of the cylinder 5 come to relatively opposing positions. Oil in the oil sump 5a of the cylinder 5 then flows from the passage 5b of the cylinder into the oil sum 6a of the piston 6. In such state, oil flows through the oil passage 6b of the piston 6 as shown by an arrow A and is stuck to an intake valve, a discharge valve, the piston 6 and the cylinder 5. The lubricating characteristics can therefore be maintained sufficiently.
