    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability at high efficiency in a hermetic motor-driven compressor used for a domestic refrigerator by reducing the sliding loss of a baring part and promoting cooling thereof. SOLUTION: A compressive element 3 and an electric element 2 are stored in a hermetic case 1. This compressor comprises a crank 9 fixed on the rotor 5 of the electric element 2, a bearing 8 in which a low frictional sliding material-made sleeve 18 equipped with an expanding slot 17 is press-fitted and by which the crank 9 is pivoted, a bearing oil groove 19 whose upper and lower ends are communicated with the inner circumferential surface of the bearing 8, and lubricant oil 13 reserved in a bottom part in the sealed case 1. A coefficient of friction is lowered by the low frictional sliding member so that the sliding loss of the crank 9 is reduced, and also the lubricant oil 13 is led to flow into the bearing oil groove 19 so that the cooling of the bearing 8 is promoted, and the reliability of the compressor can be improved at high efficiency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure pulsation and noise of a muffler of a hermetically sealed compressor. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a suction pipe 17 inserted into a sealed container 1, a muffler 6, a muffler inlet flow passage 18 connected to the muffler 6, a communicating part 19 communicating the muffler inlet flow passage 18 to the suction pipe 17, and one or a plurality of resonators 20 provided in the muffler inlet flow passage 18 or the suction pipe 17 or the communicating part 19. By keeping refrigerant gas suctioned into a cylinder 15 at a low temperature and keeping the performance, one or a plurality of pressure pulsation and noise of a specific frequency are reduced. Consequently, it is possible to reduce pressure pulsation and noise of the hermetically sealed compressor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shortage of a lubricating oil film and thereby increase reliability in a sealed compressor. SOLUTION: This sealed compressor comprises a rotor, an oil wall 26 disposed below the rotor, at least one in-rotor oil passage 27 whose one end is open toward the center of the bottom of the rotor and whose other end is open toward the outside of the top of the rotor, and an oil receiver 28 which is secured to the open end of the bottom of the in-rotor oil passage 27 and inserted inside the oil wall. Thereby oil 2 is scattered, adhered to the inner wall surface of the top of a sealing vessel 1, and cooled, and the viscosity of the oil 2 is prevented from decreasing. This makes it possible to supply the oil 2 with high viscosity to a sliding section, prevent shortage of an oil film of the sliding section, and obtain high reliability. It is possible to cool a shaft bearing 10 by filling the periphery thereof with the oil 2 and increase the reliability of the shaft bearing 10. It is possible to reduce heat of the rotor by making the oil 2 flow in the rotor 25, and increase the efficiency of a motor.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear compressor capable of suppressing the leakage of refrigerant gas from a clearance between a piston and a cylinder using a seal member even under oilless conditions, and to realize high efficiency and high reliability. SOLUTION: A channel 4c having a recessed shape is formed in the circumferential direction in the tip of the piston 4 on a compression chamber 8 side, the seal member 10 is arranged in the channel 4c having the recessed shape, and the seal member 10 is curved and extended onto the compression chamber 8 side to perform sealing in the channel 4c and on the wall face of the cylinder 3. Gas pressure in the compression chamber acts on the seal member to press the seal member in the axial direction of the channel 4c arranged in the tip of the piston 4 and in the radial direction of the cylinder wall face by this configuration. Consequently, the leakage of refrigerant into a sealed vessel 1 from the compression chamber 8 is prevented. In particular, a sufficient seal length in the radial direction can be obtained by curving and extending the seal member 10 when compared with a conventional ringlike seal member, thereby improving seal performance.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce suctioning loss of refrigerant in a muffler and improve efficiency in respect to a hermetically closed type compressor adapted to a household refrigerator. SOLUTION: This hermetically closed type compressor is composed of a motor part, a hermetically closed vessel housing a mechanical part such as a cylinder, a muffler 25, and a suction pipe 29. The muffler 25 has a muffler inlet flow passage 26 communicated with a space inside the hermetically closed vessel, and a muffler outlet passage 27 communicated with the cylinder. The suction pipe 29, muffler inlet passage 26, and muffler outlet passage 27 have the equally sized sectional areas or increasing ones in this order. Refrigerant in the muffler 25 is thus suctioned into the side of the cylinder without receiving passage resistance. It is therefore possible to improve suctioning efficiency and compression efficiency.

SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a motor part 4 located down below at the lower side in the vertical direction as a power source, a machine part 3 of a crank shaft 10 to be driven by the motor part 4 at the upper side of the motor part 4, a piston 9, a cylinder 7 and the like, a block 20 having the cylinder 7, a heat insulating material 21 provided in the block 20, and an intake muffler 22 fixed to the block 20. Heat stored by the intake muffler 22 is reduced by isolating the heat of the block 20 using the heat insulating material 21, and refrigerant gas returned back to the closed type compressor from a refrigeration system and low in temperature, is heated by the intake muffler 22 without raising temperature so that refrigerant gas high in density can be sucked in the cylinder 7 to provide high efficiency.

SOLUTION: Adhesiveness between a delivery valve 13 and a valve plate 11 is increased by placing a sealing member 18 on an opening/closing surface part 16 of the delivery valve 13 and the leakage from the delivery valve 13 to the valve plate 11 is reduced and efficiency is highly promoted. Noise reduction is also attained by relaxing the collision force between the delivery valve 13 and the valve plate 11 by the sealing member 18.

For this reason, the number of vibrations can be made small, its average opening can be made large, and both the quantity of refrigerant circulation and an efficiency can be made high, so that its reliability can be secured.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an oil separation and noise reduction in a hermetic- compressor muffler. SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor comprises a partition plate 17 partitioning a space inside a muffler 16 into inner and outer spaces, an oil separation passage formed in the partition plate 17 so as to connect the inner space and the outer space inside the muffler 16, a muffler inlet 19 formed in the inner space inside the muffler 16, and a muffler outlet 20 connecting the inner space inside the muffler 16 to a cylinder 15. In this case, cold gas that flows into the muffler 16 forms a flow along the partition plate 17 and oil whose relative density is larger than that of the cold gas is stored in the outer space outside the partition plate 17 via the oil separation passage by centrifugal force. Accordingly, the amount of the oil is kept appropriate so that the performance stabilizes, and thus the high reliability is provided. Also, by the oil separation passage attenuating a pressure pulse, a noise thereof can be reduced.
