    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal for performing a handover procedure in a mobile communication system from a source to a target base station. The target base station is configured for the mobile terminal with at least a first and a different second bandwidth part within its cell bandwidth. The mobile terminal comprises: a transceiver which, in operation, receives from the source base station a handover command message including information regarding the configured at least first and second bandwidth part; and a processor which, in operation and upon reception of the handover command message, activates in the transceiver at least a selected one of the configured at least first or second bandwidth part, and controls the transceiver to perform, over the activated at least one of the configured at least first or second bandwidth part, communication with the target base station as part of the handover procedure.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal, a base station, an operating method for a mobile terminal and an operating method for a base station. The mobile terminal is for communicating in a mobile communication system with a base station using at least one of a first bandwidth part, BP1, and a second bandwidth part, BP2. Both, the first and second bandwidth part BP1 and BP2 are within a system bandwidth, wherein the first bandwidth part, BP1, is smaller than the second bandwidth part, BP2. The mobile terminal comprises a transceiver which, in operation, receives a configuration of a discontinuous reception, DRX, cycle. Further, the mobile terminal comprises a processor which, in operation, configures, upon reception of the configuration of the DRX cycle, the a downlink communication during at least one of the communication periods within the DRX cycle to use a specific one of at least the first bandwidth part, BP1, and the second bandwidth part, BP2.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method and a reception method. The transmission device comprises a circuitry which, in operation, maps data and/or a reference signal onto a resource unit of a communication system. The resource unit includes subcarriers of a first numerology and subcarriers of a second numerology, each of the subcarriers being orthogonal to the other subcarriers of the same numerology, wherein the first numerology differs from the second numerology at least by a larger subcarrier spacing, and the subcarriers of the first and the second numerologies are frequency-multiplexed on a subcarrier basis.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal and respective operation method. The mobile terminal comprises circuitry, which in operation monitors PDCCH candidates of a first search space set located in a designated first frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges, and receives a DCI transmitted in the first search space set of the designated first frequency range. The received DCI includes an indication whether or not the mobile terminal is to skip monitoring some specific or all PDCCH candidates in at least one second search space set associated with at least one second frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges. And only if the indication in the received DCI does not indicate to skip monitoring the specific or all PDCCH candidates, the circuitry additionally monitors the specific or all PDCCH candidates associated with the at least one second frequency range for receiving a DCI thereon.
