Abstract: An information communication method which enables communication using a variety of devices includes: a step (SK91) in which a light-exposure time for an image sensor is set such that a plurality of bright lines corresponding to a plurality of light-exposure lines included in the image sensor are generated, in accordance with the brightness change of an object, in an image obtained by using the image sensor to photograph the object; a step (SK92) in which a bright-line image including the plurality of bright lines is acquired by using the image sensor to photograph, for the set light-exposure time, the object having a changing brightness; and a step (SK93) in which information is acquired by demodulating data identified by patterns of the plurality of bright lines included in the acquired bright-line image. In step (SK92), for each of the plurality of light-exposure lines, light exposure is started at sequentially different times, and light exposure is started after a prescribed idling time has elapsed since the completion of light exposure for an adjacent light-exposure line adjacent to the current light-exposure line.

Abstract: An information communication method that enables communication between various devices includes: (SK71) determining a plurality of patterns of a change in luminance, by modulating a respective plurality of signals to be transmitted; and (SK72) transmitting, by each of a plurality of light emitters changing in luminance according to any one of the determined plurality of patterns of the change in luminance, a signal corresponding to the pattern, wherein in the transmitting (SK72), each of the plurality of light emitters changes in luminance at a different frequency so that light of one of two types of light different in luminance is output per a time unit predetermined for the light emitter and that the time unit predetermined for the light emitter is different from a time unit predetermined for an other one of the plurality of light emitters.

Abstract: An information communication method, which enables communication using a plurality of devices, and in which brightness is changed to transmit signals, includes: a determination step (SK11) in which a brightness change pattern is determined by modulating a signal to be transmitted; and a transmission step (SK12) in which the brightness of a plurality of light-emission bodies is changed in accordance with the determined brightness change pattern to transmit the signal to be transmitted. The plurality of light-emission bodies are arranged upon a surface such that a non-brightness-change area where brightness is not changed and which is outside the plurality of light-emission bodies, said area being on the surface having the plurality of light-emission bodies arranged thereon, does not intersect the surface along the horizontal direction and/or the vertical direction of the surface via spaces between the plurality of light-emission bodies.
