    Abstract: A method of processing PRS resources includes: receiving, at a UE, assistance data including a schedule of a plurality of PRS resources having a plurality of beam directions, each of the plurality of PRS resources corresponding to a respective source location; determining a processing priority of the plurality of PRS resources based on a proximity of each of the plurality of beam directions to a respective expected direction from the respective source location to the UE; and measuring one or more of the plurality of PRS resources based on the processing priority.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) maintains timing information for each of a plurality of beam pairs, each beam pair comprising a downlink (DL) beam pair, comprising a base station transmit beam and a UE receive beam or a sidelink (SL) beam pair, comprising a UE transmit beam and a UE receive beam. The UE measures a first reference signal using a first beam pair from the plurality of beam pairs, measures a second reference signal using a second beam pair from the plurality of beam pairs, and reports, to a transmitting entity, beam timings for the first beam pair and the second beam pair. The measuring steps, the reporting step, or both, are performed according to the timing information for the first beam pair and the second beam pair.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein provide for a mobile device communicating a timing quality metric related to an uplink (UL) signal for UL and/or downlink-uplink (DL-UL) positioning techniques. The timing quality metric can be indicative of an accuracy of the transmission timing of one or more reference signals (e.g., in relation to a downlink (DL) signal or other UL reference signal) and may be communicated using an indexed and/or enumerated value. This information can be included as an information element (IE) in a report provided by the mobile device to a receiving network entity or location server.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) monitors one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates in a search space while in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state, receives, while in the RRC inactive state, a positioning paging message from a network entity on at least one PDCCH candidate of the one or more PDCCH candidates, the positioning paging message configured to trigger an update to one or more parameters associated with an ongoing positioning session involving the UE, applies, while in the RRC inactive state, the update to the one or more parameters, and transmits, while in the RRC inactive state, an acknowledgment to the network entity in response to reception of the positioning paging message.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enhance the configuration of the scheduling offset for communication devices within a channelized frequency band. In one aspect, a UE receives a PDCCH including a scheduling offset parameter. The PDCCH schedules one of a PDSCH for reception in a first sub-band within a BWP or provides an uplink scheduling grant of a PUSCH for transmission in a second sub-band within the BWP. The UE communicates with a base station based on one of a slot for receiving the PDSCH based on the first sub-band within the BWP and the scheduling offset parameter when the PDCCH schedules the PDSCH, or a slot for transmitting the PUSCH based on the second sub-band within the BWP and the scheduling offset parameter when a PUCCH is used to schedule the PUSCH.
