    Abstract: The present invention is a composite film manufacturing method in which a sputtering device is used and a gas of a substance with which can be prepared a mixed gas of a target of a solid substance in a standard state (a temperature of 25° C. and pressure of 100 KPa) (A) and a sputtering gas (B) is used. The method includes: (1) a step for attaching the target (A) to a target installation jig of the sputtering device; (2) a step for reducing the pressure inside a sputtering chamber of the sputtering device to a prescribed first pressure; (3) a step for introducing the mixed gas of the sputtering gas and the gas (B) into the sputtering chamber of the sputtering device such that the inside of the sputtering chamber reaches a second prescribed pressure (greater than or equal to the first prescribed pressure); and (4) a step for applying electric power to the target (A) and using sputtering to form a composite film on the surface of a base material. The sputtering device may be a roll-to-roll scheme sputtering device.

    Abstract: Embodiments relate to a layered film having an antireflection function and an infrared-shielding function. According to at least one embodiment, there is provided a layered film having a heat-ray shielding layer and a low-refractive-index layer in this order on at least one surface of a resin film, where the difference (Rh−Rf) of the refractive index (Rh) of the heat-ray shielding layer and the refractive index (Rf) of the resin film is −0.1 to 0.1, the difference (Rh−RL) of the refractive index (Rh) of the heat-ray shielding layer and the refractive index (RL) of the low-refractive-index layer is 0.05 or greater, and the refractive index (RL) of the low-refractive-index layer is 1.2 to 1.45. The thickness of the heat-ray shielding layer may be 0.1 to 5 μm. The visible-light transmittance of the layered film may be 88% or greater.

    Abstract: One embodiment provides a hard coat laminated film having, in order from a surface layer side, a first hard coat and a transparent resin film layer. The first hard coat includes a coating material not including inorganic particles and including: (A) 100 parts by mass polyfunctional (meth) acrylate; (B) 0.01-7 parts by mass water repellent; (C) 0.01-10 parts by mass silane coupling agent; and (D) 0.1-10 parts by mass resin microparticles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-10 μm.
