PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for carrying glass formed of a foamed molding which is impact-resistant, antistatic, and has favorable appearance even if a foaming rate is high.SOLUTION: A problem is solved by a glass carrying container. The glass carrying container is formed of a polystyrene based resin having a plurality of bubbles and bubble films dividing them and in which the bubble films form a continuous phase and polyacrylic alkyl ester resin particulates dispersed in the continuous phase and forming a disperse phase. In the glass carrying container, the polystyrene based resin is composed of a complex polystyrene-based resin foamed molding product which is complexed with polyacrylic alkyl ester resin particulates, and a plurality of the disperse phases exist in a state of lamellas in the thickness direction of the bubble films in the bubble film cross-sections of the complex polystyrene resin foam.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable composite resin particles comprising a polyolefin resin and a polystyrene resin and containing pentane, wherein, even if the expandable composite resin particles are pre-expanded without being thawed after frozen-stored, the pre-expanded particle becomes not in a state having a core, or has a low mixing ratio of the pre-expanded particle in a state having a core. SOLUTION: The dry manufacturing method for the expandable composite resin particles comprises an impregnation step of adding pentane as an expanding agent to a composite resin article comprising a polyolefin resin and a polystyrene resin at a temperature within the range of (T+10)°C to (T+40)°C, T(°C) being the boiling point of pentane, in a closed system without using an aqueous medium to impregnate the resin particle with 7.5-11.0 wt.% of pentane, and a freezing step of freezing the pentane-impregnated composite resin particles taken out. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carbon-containing and styrene-modified polyethylene-based resin particles capable of giving a black expanded molded form excellent in rigidity, impact resistance, chemical resistance and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The carbon-containing and styrene-modified polyethylene-based resin particles are such that 120-400 pts.wt. of a styrene-based resin is included in 100 pts.wt. of a carbon-containing polyethylene-based resin, wherein the polyethylene-based resin in the carbon-containing polyethylene-based resin is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer obtained by copolymerization between 5.5-8 wt% of vinyl acetate and 94.5-92 wt% of ethylene, having a degree of crystallinity of 30-40%. The carbon-containing and styrene-modified polyethylene-based resin particles contains 1-8 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the particles, of a halogen-based flame retardant.
