Abstract: PURPOSE:To detach a couple of elastic engaging pieces diverged toward the end from a tooth of a tape reel by arranging freely slidably a claw main body between couple of guides in a lower half and forwarding the claw to fold up the engaging pieces provided to the tip of the claw toward the inner direction by the guides. CONSTITUTION:In selecting the mode of a video tape recorder into, e.g., the reproduction mode, a lock release pin 103 is forwarded in the direction of arrow (l). The claw 90 is forwarded from the home position to the forward position against a torsional spring 91. In this case, a couple of the elastic engaging pieces 89 of the claw 90 are guided by the edge of a couple of guides 94 and detached surely and very easily from both teeth 106 of a couple of tape reels 8, 9 while being folded up toward the inside against the elasticity. In this case, a couple of claws 88 are turned forwardly against the torsional spring 91, a couple of claws 97 are detached from both the teeth 106 to release the lock of a couple of tape reels 8, 9. Thus, the engaging pieces 89 are detached easily from the teeth 106 in forwarding the claw to ensure the release of lock of the tape reels.

In picking up with a camera 5, when an automatic focus button is depressed, the motor 27 turns forward or reverse, and a focus ring 13 turns forward or reverse via a drive gear 15 and an external circumferential gear 14 with a drive shaft 16.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To engage a resilient engaging piece with both teeth sections of a tape reel by a return movement of a claw body by constituting a claw body with a main body and a resilient engaging piece of a tapered shape having a space enlarged at an end. CONSTITUTION:When a video tape recorder is positioned at a stop mode, if a claw body 90 is returned, a pair of claw bodies 88 are returned and rotated by an energizing force of a torsion spring 91 and a claw section 97 thereof engages with both teeth sections 106. Then while the claw body is returned, a pair of resilient engaging pieces 89 engage with both the teeth sections 106 and returned, so that both tape reels 8, 9 rotate slightly respectively in a direction of a take-up of the tape (directions shown by arrows (m), (n). Accordingly, a slack in the tape 10 is not produced. By the returning of the claw body 90 in a direction of (i), the engaging pieces 89 are opened outward by a guide section 94, therefore, an engaging position of the engaging piece 89 are constantly fixed and a lock of both the tape reels 8, 9 can be usually performed asuredly. In this manner, a lock function can be done by one claw body and the number of parts and assembling processes is reduced and a structure can be simplified.

Simultaneously, a tension regulator is turned to an unloading position to complete unloading of the tape 1. Thus, the tape is unloaded surely, and the damage of the tape is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent slack of a tape, by loading a tape cassettte to a device main body, providing a member which is shifted at the setting of an operation mode and releasing the brake of a reel through the movement of this member. CONSTITUTION:While a VTR is at the stop mode, a lever 13 is at the neutral position and a gear 12 does not gear with any of gears 2 and 3. In loading a cassette, a pair of reel stands (not shown) of the VTR are inserted into the cassette and latched to reels 9 and 10. A pin 22 is progressed into the cassette together with a fixed guide 24. In setting the operation mode, a tape 11 is drawn out and loaded, the lever 13 is turned, the gear 12 is latched with any of the gears 2 and 3 to turn the reel, a slide plate 19 moves this side, and the pin 22 turns a release lever 27 around a shaft 28 orthogonally to a low side, to turn left and right stoppers 30 to the center and to unlatch the latch with a gear 33. The tape can be made run first on this occasion, allowing to prevent the generation of slack of the tape.
