Abstract: A video tape recorder, according to the present invention, comprises a mechanical chassis supporting a mechanism for recording and reproducing video signals on a magnetic video tape housed in a cassette. The mechanical chassis moves essentially on a horizontal plane at a load position and an ejecting position. At the load position, the mechanical chassis projects frontward from an outer cover housing of the video tape recorder for loading and/or ejecting a magnetic video tape cassette. Preferably, the recorder has at least two load positions and can perform recording and/or reproduction at either load position. At a first load position, the mechanical chassis is housed within the internal space of the recorder housing. At second load position, the mechanical chassis projects at least partway from the recorder housing. A push-button operated controller for operating the recorder is also disclosed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable display of a residual power feeding capacity in substance of a battery, by displaying the current voltage detected by a voltage detecting circuit during the power supply from the battery and the newest voltage at the power supply stored in a memory during the non-power supply separately. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detecting circuit 4 detects a voltage of a battery 2 during the power supply to an electronic equipment body 1 and the memory contents of a memory 5 is updated with the newest voltage detected by the voltage detecting circuit 4. A changeover switch 6 changes over the voltage detected with the voltage detecting circuit 4 and the newest voltage read out of the memory 5. During the power supply from the battery 2, the current voltage detected with the voltage detecting circuit 4 is displayed 7 and during the non-power supply, the newest voltage at the power supply read out of the memory 5 is done separately.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the easy and stable adjustment by adopting a semiconductor circuit comprising a nonvolatile memory and a D/A converting circuit for an adjusting volume. CONSTITUTION:A digital data of each address is read from a nonvolatile memory into plural addresses of which the prescribed digital data is written by using an output of an address counter 2 sequentially. The read digital data is subject to D/A conversion by a converter 4 and the converted voltage is shared by a multiplexer 5 switched sequentially corresponding to the read address. The shared voltage is outputted to output terminals 81-8N via hold circuits 6a-6N and fed to each adjusting point of the system.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To avoid the deterioration in performance or the breakdown of a recording/reproducing part by supporting this part so that it can be pulled out to plural positions on the outside of an outer housing and switching off a power supply after shifting the recording/reproducing part to a pull-in position within the housing.
CONSTITUTION: A gear shift 18 projected over a mechanical chassis 4 provided at a recording/reproducing part containing the mechanisms necessary for recording and reproduction is rotated with reverse revolution of a motor 50. Thus a chassis shift gear 19 fixed to the shaft 18 engages a rack 17 and moves forward. Then the chassis 4 is pulled out through the opening of an outer housing 2 with guidance of a guide rolls 8 and 8' fixed at the side of the housing 2 as well as guide rolls 7 and 7' provided to the chassis 4. Thus the chassis 4 is shifted up to a half pull-out position or the pull-out position. When a switch is operated to cut off the power supply, the motor 50 has forward revolutions. Thus the chassis 4 is moved back. Then the power supply is cut off when the chassis 4 reaches the pull-in position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly perform program search, by providing a reproduce switch which feeds a tape for making reproduction, a quick traverse switch for feeding tape at a high speed, and a rewinding switch for rewinding tape at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:Various operation buttons 6-13 are arranged in an operation button arranging section 5. When the reproduce button 6 is pressed, normal reproduction is performed and, when the quick traverse button 7 is pressed, quick traversing namely, tape feed is performed at a speed which is about forty to one hundred times faster than the normal tape running speed at the time of reproduction. When the rewind button 8 is pressed, rewinding, namely, tape rewinding is performed at the same speed as that of the quick traverse. By using such a constitution, shifting from the quick traverse or rewinding mode to the searching mode can be made easily and quickly by simply operating the quick traverse switch or rewind switch. Therefore, the program search is made faster.

CONSTITUTION:When a reset pulse RS is supplied to a terminal 6 after power-on operation, a data signal DT is supplied from a computer 1 to the input register 3 of a latch IC2 for extension, but it is not transferred to the output register 4.
