    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the recording of a video signal without jitter even when uneven rotation in a drum is generated, by providing the oscillator of a signal which becomes the base of the reference signal of a camera, and a control signal for a drum motor, and controlling the oscillation phase of the oscillator based on the rotation detecting signal of the drum on which a video head is mounted. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation phase of an oscillator 1 is controlled based on a shared oscillator 1 which generates an oscillation signal which becomes the base of the reference signal of a camera 9, and the control signal for a drum motor 11, a rotation detector 12 which detects the rotation of the drum on which the video head is mounted, and the rotation detecting signal from the rotation detector 12. In this way, it is possible to record the video signal without the jitter on a tape, even when uneven rotation is generated in the drum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly perform program search, by providing a reproduce switch which feeds a tape for making reproduction, a quick traverse switch for feeding tape at a high speed, and a rewinding switch for rewinding tape at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:Various operation buttons 6-13 are arranged in an operation button arranging section 5. When the reproduce button 6 is pressed, normal reproduction is performed and, when the quick traverse button 7 is pressed, quick traversing namely, tape feed is performed at a speed which is about forty to one hundred times faster than the normal tape running speed at the time of reproduction. When the rewind button 8 is pressed, rewinding, namely, tape rewinding is performed at the same speed as that of the quick traverse. By using such a constitution, shifting from the quick traverse or rewinding mode to the searching mode can be made easily and quickly by simply operating the quick traverse switch or rewind switch. Therefore, the program search is made faster.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To set one servo lock point per two tracks and to shorten lock-in time by shifting the phase of a tracking error signal by 180 deg. to shift the servo lock point by an extent corresponding to two tracks. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a tracking circuit for which a tracking error signal SE is obtd. based on the reproduced signals of recording pilot signals of four frequencies f1-f4 cyclically recorded by repeating four tracks to scan tracks recorded with pilot signals of respectively corresponding frequencies and a means which detects that correspondence between heads and scanning tracks is shifted by approximately two-truck and the phase of the tracking error signal SE is shifted by 180 deg.. The scanning sequence of four heads are shifted by an extent corresponding to two heads in accordance with 180 deg. phase shift. Thus, one tracking servo lock point set per four tracks is set per two tracks with respect to time by 180 deg. phase shift of the tracking error signal and therefore, the lock-in time is shortened.

CONSTITUTION: Terminals 60, 64 are connected respectively to the anode 40 and cathode 44 of a cold-cathode fluorescent tube 24 for a back-light and the terminals 60, 64 are connected respectively to lands 70, 74 of a printed board 26. Lands (proximity conductors) 80, 84 corresponding to the anode 40 and cathode 44 are formed on the printed board 26, and the discharge of the cold- cathode fluorescent tube 24 for a back-light is induced by the lands 80, 84. A stable discharge effect is obtained and the cost can be reduced.
