PURPOSE:To make entire thickness thin concerning the optical pickup applied to an optical disk device and a magneto-optical disk device or the like. CONSTITUTION:The optical path of a light beam L is bent by a prism 11, the light beam is condensed by a hologram lens 12 formed on the emitting surface of this prism 11, otherwise, the optical path is bent by a hologram mirror 22, and the light beam L is condensed. Thus, an objective lens is omitted, and the optical path bending means and the condensing means are integrally formed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decode digital data with simple constitution by reading a regenerative output from a recording medium with a differential detecting means marking 4 channel bits which are higher than others in regenerative output of every 11 channel bits and performing a code conversion processing on this detected output in corresponding to an encoder. CONSTITUTION:The number of channel bits per byte in digital data recorded on an optical disk 1 is set as 11 channel bits by the encoder 22 provided in a recording system 20. Among bit patterns of combination of 11C4 setting the number of marks in these bits as 4 channel bits, the conversion is made into code data except a continuous mark pattern of 4 bits and such a bit pattern as 3 or 2 bits or 2 or 3 bits of mark are located before and after a 1-bit space. Then, the differential detecting operation marking 4 bits which are higher signal level among every 11-bit unit with a preamplifier 31 in the reproducing system 30 is performed, so that the detected output is converted by the decoder 34 into a code corresponding to the encoder 22.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silicon fine particles whose particle sizes are nano-order and the inside of each of which has an amorphous or crystalline structure. SOLUTION: The spherical polycrystalline or amorphous silicon fine particles having nano-meter sizes are obtained by supplying molten silicon onto a dish-shaped disk rotating at high speed, scattering the molten silicon as droplets by applying a centrifugal force to it, dispersing silicon particles obtained by rapidly cooling the scattered droplets in an inert gas atmosphere into a liquid medium, and repeating an operation of passing the dispersion through a small diameter nozzle under pressure. PURPOSE:To selectively load a disk piercing only a center hole and attaching a clamping hub. CONSTITUTION:When the disk D1 piercing only the center hole 2 is placed on a disk table 53, a disk clamping member 57 capable of magnetic attraction is magnetically attracted onto the disk table 53 side so as to engage the center hole 2 of the disk D1 with an expanded part 76 to be clamped in co-operation with the disk table 53. When the disk D2 attached with the clamping hub 13 is placed on the disk table 53, the clamping hub 13 is magnetically attracted by the magnetic attraction function of the disk table 53 to be clamped with the disk table 53.

PURPOSE:To improve the brightness of the screen by arranging a rear plate transmitting an ultraviolet ray but reflecting a visual light onto a fluorescent substance coated face of a screen of a display device of fluorescent substance stimulation type having a large screen such as 60 inches or over. CONSTITUTION:A rear plate 32 transmitting an ultraviolet ray 20 and reflecting a visual light 26 is arranged on a phosphor coated face of a screen 25. Thus, the visual light radiating toward the rear plate 32 among visual lights radiating from phosphors 29R, 29G and 29B by stimulation of an ultraviolet ray laser beam 20 is reflected in the rear plate 32 in the direction of a base 27. Then the light transmits through the base 27 and radiates externally. Thus, even when the input power to laser light sources 13, 15, 18 and 19 and the laser power of the ultraviolet ray laser beam 20 are the same as those of a conventional device, the brightness of the screen 25 is twice that of the conventional device.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform stable sampled servo and, at the same time, to make traverse counting on recording tracks by arranging a traverse information bit, tracking information bit, clock information bit, and focus servo area in the described order from the upstream side of a recording area for control. CONSTITUTION:The recording area ARc for control of each block BL1-BL76 is divided into three areas of pre-format areas AR1 and AR2 and a focus servo area AF. A traverse information bit QT, tracking information bits QW1 and QW and clock information bit QCK are respectively provided on the areas AR1 and AR2. After the area AR2, the mirror surface-like focus servo area AF is provided. Therefore, not only stable servo can be performed even at the switching section from writing scan to reading scan, but also sure traverse counting is performed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress inter-code interference by assigning one block for each byte of data, specifying the total number of marks in one block, arranging the marks between 1st to 14th channels, and coding the data so that the number of spaces between marks is selected to be 2 or over. CONSTITUTION:A data for each byte is assigned to a block having the prescribed number of channels and converted into a recording signal. In such conversion, the number of channels in one block is selected to be 15 or 16. The total number of marks is selected to be 2 or over and 4 or below. The said mark is arranged between 1st channel to 14th channel. The number of spaces between the said marks is selected to be 2 or over. Thus, a recording signal subject to coding is recorded on a medium such as an optical disk and reproduced at a receiver side. In such a case, the reproduced waveform is separated to a degree of being able to detect each mark and a waveform in which inter-code interference is suppressed is obtained.

PURPOSE:To provide the voice information processor capable of obtaining a recognition output from a voice input with a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:The voice compression coding data M1 obtd. by a voice information recording and reproducing device 51 and the standard pattern read out of a standard pattern memory circuit 3 are compared and matching distances are calculated by a distance calculating means 4. The standard pattern of the shortest matching distance is outputted as the recognition output R1 in accordance with the calculated results of the matching distances. An existing device, such as minidisk recording and reproducing device, is usable for this voice information recording and reproducing device 51, in this case, and, therefore, the device to obtain the recognition output R1 from the voice input S1 is easily constituted. A language learning machine by which the recognition output R1 is obtd. only when a learner makes pronunciation as good as his voice input S1 exceeds a standard distance RD to teacher's pronunciation, is buildable if the words, sentences, etc., by the pronunciation of the language teacher are formed as the standard patterns.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To properly secure the rotational synchronization by deciding exactly a header segment. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk is provided with a 1st mark (PMAD) which shows that a header segment is identical with a segment which includes the address information at a prescribed position in a segment. Furthermore a ROM data segment and a RAM data segment are provided with the 2nd marks (PMR and PMMO or PMD) at the setting positions different from the 1st mark in a segment to show absence of at least the header segment.
