Abstract: PURPOSE:To stop an object to be moved at its target position without vibrating the object by giving the deceleration control to the object moving toward the target position at a place near this target position and stopping the object at the target position. CONSTITUTION:At an arithmetic processing part 30, the position control gain K is set at a comparatively large value and an object to be moved is accelerated at a prescribed speed through a target value arithmetic part 31. Then the target speed value is obtained and the speed servo signal corresponding to said target value is supplied to a motor driving part 40 from a servo data arithmetic part 33. Thus a drive current corresponding to the speed servo signal flows to a drive motor 10 and the position shift control of the object is started. Then the part 30 performs a control operation to move the object toward its target position. When the object enters a prescribed positioning range, the position control gain is changed to a small value so that the object is not vibrated at its stop position owing to the deceleration control. Thus, the object to be moved is stopped at its target position.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a malfunction of an infrared cut filter even under any illuminance environment. SOLUTION: For deciding whether to insert an infrared cut filter, an illuminance difference discrimination section 42 discriminates whether a difference between present object illuminance and a reference value that is an average value of object illuminance in several frames of a state where the infrared cut filter is extracted, is equal with or greater than a threshold value Th2 or not. Furthermore, a high illuminance discrimination section 43 discriminates whether the present object illuminance is equal with or greater than a threshold value Th3 or not, in parallel with the discrimination by the illuminance difference discrimination section 42. In accordance with a result of the discrimination by the illuminance difference discrimination section 42 or the high illuminance discrimination section 43, a switching control section 31 inserts the infrared cut filter into an incident light path to an imaging device. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker noises without a malfunction even in the case of an object luminance change while securing an S/N at the time of video photographing under the AC power source illumination of 50 Hz. SOLUTION: Flicker is corrected by adding a flicker correction quantity to a shutter speed based on a difference between a light average value for three fields and the lightness of a present field. Besides, when the minimum value of the flicker correction quantities for three fields and a shutter speed under exposure control are added and the result is equal to or lower than a minimum shutter speed, an offset quantity calculated so as to provide the minimum shutter speed is added to the flicker correction quantity and defined as the flicker correction quantity of the present field. The lowest shutter speed can be 1/60 sec and the S/N at the time of low luminosity can be secured. Further, the flicker correction quantity of the present field is provided by adding an increase/decrease quantity to the flicker correction quantity before three fields and the limit value of the flicker correction quantity is varied corresponding to the shutter speed under exposure control. Thus, the malfunction caused by the luminance change can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION: This camera unit 11 is made up of a lens unit 11a, an image pickup means such as a CCD arranged to an image forming position of the lens unit 11a, and a mirror 12. The mirror 12 is rocked from its escaping position till its inserted position by a rotary shaft 12a provided to a front side upper part of the camera unit 11. The mirror 12 is driven around the rotary shaft 12a by a driver 15 and its angle is adjusted. When the mirror 12 is located at its inserting position, a light of a sample located on a sample placing board is led to the camera unit 11 via the mirror 12 and its image is formed on a light receiving face of the image pickup means. When the mirror 12 is in the escaping position, the object in front of the lens unit 11a is picked up.

The laser light reflected by the code plate 10 is detected by the four divided detectors 29A-29D of the optical pickup 20 and the encoding output is composed of the respective detection outputs. Consequently, the code pattern 11 is read with the laser beam forming the beam spot BS0 larger than intervals of the code pattern 11 formed on the code plate 10 to obtain the encoding output with high resolution.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To securely obtain a displacement quantity detection output with high resolution by moving a detecting means for detecting optically a code pattern which is formed repeatedly on a code plate and long in the direction crossing the detection movement direction at right angles by a specific quantity at right angles to a detection movement direction if the code pattern has a defect such as partial omission. CONSTITUTION:Every time respective detection outputs of detecting circuits 43, 44, and 46 of a signal processing part 40 are supplied, a pickup driving part 30 drives a driving motor 33 by a motor driving circuit to move an optical pickup 20 by unit distance in a radial direction of the code plate 10, i.e. in a lengthwise direction of the code pattern 1. If a part of the code pattern surface of the code plate 10 which is irradiated with laser light has a defect such as the sticking of dust 15 and absence 16 of the code pattern 11, beam spots BS0-BS2 are moved automatically to positions indicated with black circular marks to securely read the high resolution code pattern 11 with fine pitch.

A 1-2-phase excitation circuit 20 is selected when the repetitive frequency of clock pulses CP extends over predetermined frequency f0 or less, and a 2-phase excitation conversion circuit 50 is selected when the repetitive frequency f of clock pulses CP extends over predetermined frequency f0 or more. Accordingly, a stepping motor is excited by a 2-phase excitation system proper to drive at high speed on normalcy, and the stepping motor is excited by a 1-2-phase excitation system, through which high resolving power is acquired, on starting and on stoppage.
