Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform information transfer with documents more effectively, by making editing of image information together with editing of sentences by a word processor possible. CONSTITUTION:A required part of the whole of an original is inputted by a keyboard 23 of a word processor 18. This input is stored in a memory 20 and is displayed on a display device 13. Next, the form where a drawing is described is set in a transmitting part 9 of a fascimile device 8 and is read, and data is stored in a buffer memory 12. When a screen display instruction is given from a keyboard 7, this picture is displayed on the device 13. Next, while watching the displayed picture, an area of the editing object and a desired position are determined by a position selecting part 15, and a frame is determined. A reduction rate is desingated by the keyboard 7. As the result, a video with sentences and the drawing combined appears on the display surface. Next, when an instruction to form a hard copy is given, character data stored in a memory 20 is expanded and is stored in the memory 12 and is outputted to the device 8.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display image data with more pixels than effective pixels of a display screen with a resolution of the image data sufficiently used. SOLUTION: When gigantic image data 20 that are recorded in a recording medium and has the number of pixels that is significantly greater than the first number of pixels of the display area of a monitor device is displayed on the display area, a block corresponding to the display area is extracted from the gigantic image data 20 to be used for a display. At this time, according to a memory capacity used for a development of the image data displayed, the gigantic image data 20 of a predetermined amount within the memory capacity are read from the recording medium. Also, when a part 21 of the gigantic image data 20 displayed on the displayed area is moved, the next part of the gigantic image data is preliminarily read from the recording medium before the next data are required, and the next part is stored in the memory. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To add automatically a preliminarily designated character to a number as an operation result by performing display for setting the character, which should be added to the start or the end of the number, in the operation mode. CONSTITUTION:Character data inputted from a keyboard 3 is supplied to a processor 1, and characters are displayed on a CRT display device 5 through a CRT interface 4 from the processor 1. One page of A4 size of documents can be displayed on the display device 5, and the screen can be divided to upper and lower parts, and different documents can be displayed in these upper and lower parts. Further, a disc drive device 7 is connected to the processor 1 through a disc interface 6, and a printer 9 is connected to the processor 1 through a printer interface 8.

PURPOSE:To facilitate easy editing of picture information, by once storing the original picture information in a buffer memory and processing the stored data based on a prescribed editing program. CONSTITUTION:The picture data generated at a transmitting part 9 of a facsimile device 8 is written into a buffer memory 12 via a facsimile control part 11 and then transferred to a display buffer memory 14. Then a picture based on the picture data stored in the memory 14 is displayed at a display device 13. The region to which a zooming is desired is designated through a position selecting part 15, and thus the picture data corresponding to the desired region is transferred to the memory 14 and displayed.
