    Abstract: PURPOSE:To extend the use of a battery pack and reduce a power loss by providing power-down control means for reducing power consumption in circuits for output control of voltage and current as well as output control of a protecting section in overdischarge state of the secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:This provides a variable output voltage and a variable AC output frequency at the input and output interface of a battery condition output terminal 11 and an output setting input terminal 21 and also permits the outputting of the residual of secondary batteries A and B to a load equipment side by battery information. By doing this, the power supply for load equipment can be simplified, and the load equipment can be compact, lightweight and produced at low cost. Also, on the side of the secondary batteries A and B, the output control is performed by commonly using a discharge switch 22 and a charge switch 23 for a protecting circuit, thereby setting the number of switching elements to a required minimum and reducing the power loss.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain assured position detection without using an exclusive stylus having a complicated structure by putting a simple stylus consisting of a lead wire close to an electrode of a position detecting plate and obtaining a detection signal corresponding to the position of the simple stylus. CONSTITUTION:The signal Cd is supplied to electrodes X1-Xn and Y1-Ym of a position detecting plate 1 by means of a stylus 62 having extremely simple constitution where an electrode 60 to which a carrier signal Cd is supplied is stored into an insulator outer barrel 61. In this case, the edge part of the electrode 60 protruded to the tip of the stylus 62 has contact onto an insulated plate of the plate 1. Then the signal Cd is supplied by the capacitive coupling formed between the edge part of the electrode 60 and the electrodes X1-Xn and Y1- Ym respectively. Thus the position signal obtained at a terminal 11 is converted into a position detecting signal whose phase is varied according to each position via a detection circuit part. Based on this position detecting signal, the positions of the stylus 62 are detected in both X and Y directions on the plate 1.

SOLUTION: There is disclosed a driving method for an ink jet printer wherein an ink ejection hole 13 for ejecting an ink 4 and a solvent ejection hole 12 for ejecting a solvent 2 are disposed to be in close proximity with each other and the ink pressed to be ejected from the ink ejection hole 13 and the solvent ejected from the solvent ejection hole 12 are brought into contact with each other at the ejection holes 12, 13, then the ink 4 and the solvent 2 are ejected. After the completion of applying of a voltage for pressing to eject the ink 4, applying of a voltage for ejecting the solvent 2 is completed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a multi-head to be constituted by a simple structure by making positional precision between an electrostrictive vibrator and a cylindrical tube easy by a method wherein a plurality of cylindrical tubes are arranged at positions receiving pressure action of pressure generating parts formed by attaching an electrode to an electrostrictive vibrator or a magnetostrictive vibrator supported with a pedestal. CONSTITUTION:In order to assemble respective components, a number of glassy cylindrical tubes 5a composing a glass cylindrical tube line 5 are arranged in an adjacent state on a solid structured pedestal 10, and end faces on a front face side of respective cylindrical tubes 5a are so arranged as to be located on a same plane. An electrostrictive vibrator 2 is so arranged as to be put above the cylindrical tubes thus arranged uniform, and fixed lest an immoderate load should be applied. A gap among the vibrator 2, respective cylindrical tubes 5a composing the cylindrical tube line 5, and the pedestal 10 is filled by use of fillers being highly hard or the like around an ink chamber 7 so that the ink chamber 7 is hermetically sealed at that time. Since there is thus no necessity for strict registration of the electrostrictive or magnetostrictive vibrator to the cylindrical tube, assembling precision is not strictly requested and a manufacturing cost can be steeply reduced.

Since the nozzle 14 is always filled with the carrier liquid 7, the nozzle 14 is not clogged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a structure of an ink jet head, multiply the heads, and gather multi-heads by forming an electrostrictive vibrator of ink jet heads into a comb-like shape and arranging the toothed part in an ink chamber so as to be integrated. CONSTITUTION:Each toothed part 2a of a comb-like electrostrictive vibrator 2 of ink jet heads 1 is arranged in a position just under an orifice 5d and a partition wall 5a of an outer frame 5 and the oscillator 2 are fixed by adhesion or compression bonding so as to be integrated. After ink is extruded, ink grains 10 left outside the orifice 5d are extruded in an ejected state and continue flying, for example, in the direction of a recording paper. In an ink chamber 5b, the ink reduces by a volume of the ejected ink grains 10, so that an ink quantity equivalent to the reduced quantity is replenished from an ink supply passage 5e and a state of the ink chamber 5b filled with the ink is restored. Such an operation is repeated in the individual ink chamber 5b of the multiplied head 1, so that desired ink grains 10 can be ejected selectively and continuously.
