    Abstract: A method for producing a hollow fiber film, characterized in that a poly(vinylidene fluoride) type resin solution which comprises a poly(vinylidene fluoride) type resin and a poor solvent for the resin and ha s a temperature of the phase separation temperature thereof or higher is delivered into a cooling bath having a temperature of the phase separation temperature or lower, to thereby coagulate the resin; and a hollow fiber fil m, characterized in that it comprises a poly(vinylidene fluoride) type resin an d has a spherical structure having an average diameter ranging 0.3 to 30 .mu.m . The method allows the production of a hollow fiber film of a poly(vinylidene fluoride) type resin having high chemical resistance, which exhibits high strength and high water permeability, at a low load to the environment and a t a low production cost.

    Abstract: The invention provides a method of producing a chemical product through continuous fermentation which includes filtering a culture of a microorganism or cultured cells with a separation membrane to recover a product from a filtrate and simultaneously retaining a nonfiltered fluid in, or refluxing it to, the culture, and adding fermentation materials to the culture, wherein a porous membrane having an average pore size of 0.01 µm or more to less than 1 µm is used as the separation membrane and the filtration is conducted with a transmembrane pressure difference in the range of 0.1 to 20 kPa. According to this method, the fermentation productivity of the chemical product can be largely elevated at high stability and a low cost.

    Abstract: Método de producción de una membrana de fibra hueca que comprende: descargar una solución de fluoruro de polivinilideno que comprende una resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno y un disolvente pobre, que se selecciona del grupo que comprende ciclohexanona, isoforona, gamma-butirolactona y ftalato de dimetilo, a una temperatura por encima de una temperatura de separación de fases de dicha disolución, en un baño de refrigeración a una temperatura por debajo de la temperatura de separación de fases para coagular la resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno; en el que el baño de refrigeración contiene del 60 al 100 por ciento de dicho disolvente pobre; la resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno se disuelve en el disolvente pobre a una temperatura de 80ºC a 175ºC para preparar una solución de resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno; la solución de resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno contiene del 20 al 60 por ciento en peso de resina de fluoruro de polivinilideno; la temperatura de cristalización de la solución de fluoruro de polivinilideno está en el intervalo de 40ºC a 120ºC; la velocidad de enfriamiento promedio de la solución de fluoruro de polivinilideno, cuando la temperatura de la solución de fluoruro de polivinilideno alcanza la temperatura de cristalización durante el enfriamiento, está en el intervalo de 2 x 10 3 ºC/min a 10 6 ºC/min; y la temperatura de la hilera Th para descargar la solución de fluoruro de polivinilideno en el baño de refrigeración y la temperatura de cristalización satisfacen la relación Tc = Tc + 90.
