SOLUTION: This film is obtd. by forming, on at least one side of a substrate, a primer layer mainly comprising a polymer binder and a polymer ultraviolet absorber, pref. a primer layer mainly comprising a polymer binder, a polymer ultraviolet absorber, and a cross-linker.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the label for cloth which is easy to mount, is not affected by processing and permits easy reading of characters and symbols even after processing in a processing stage such as dyeing of various kinds of fabrics by printing one surface of a transparent plastic film having resistance to heat, water and chemicals and coating the printed surface with a heat-, waterand chemical-resistant hot melt adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The printed surface side of the label is adhered to cloth or cloth products via the hot melt adhesive applied thereon. Then, the printing appears on the front surface of the label through the transparent plastic film and, therefore, the printing in reversal is necessary. Materials having the resistance to heat, water and chemicals are used for both the plastic film and hot melt adhesive as the base material and, therefore, the label stuck to the cloth is capable of exhibiting the high resistance to heat, water and chemicals as well. Such transparent plastic films include films consisting of polyolefin, polyamide, etc. The hot melt adhesives include ethylene vinyl alcohol system, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the inexpensive bar code label which obviates the generation of tearing, rupture, thermal shrinkage, and obscuration of printing even if cleaning is repeated a substantial number of times by printing bar codes, by using heat resistant ink, on the heat resistant coating layer applied on one surface of a heat resistant plastic film. CONSTITUTION:A layer consisting of a compsn. essentially consisting of a poly(meth)acrylate copolymer or a layer consisting of a compsn. essentially consisting of a nonaq. polyester copolymer formed by grafting a compd. having an unsatd. bond contg. alkoxy silane or glicidyl group is first provided as the heat resistant coating layer on at least one surface of the film consisting of any of a fluororesin, a resin compsn. essentially consisting of poly-p-phenylene sulfide, a polymer having imide groups in the molecule and an arom. polyamide polymer as the heat resistant film. The heat resistant coating layer is then subjected to bar code printing. This bar code label has the sufficient durability to cleaning of cloth products, such as sheets and towels.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the surface of a receptor layer to have an appropriate delustering property and form a recording sheet with a good ink absorptive property by laminating a plastic film or paper of a predetermined value or lower in its surface roughness on a receptor layer, and permitting a separation strength between the receptor layer and the plastic film or paper to be in a predetermined value or lower. SOLUTION: The surface roughness of a plastic film or paper to be laminated on the surface of a receptor layer is to be 0.1μm or lower. However, it is preferable that the surface roughness is to be 0.1μm or less and 0.0005μm or more and, more preferably it is to be 0.1μm or less and 0.001μm or more and, furthermore, the separation strength is to be 200g/cm or lower between the receptor layer and the plastic or paper to be laminated on the surface of the receptor layer. However, the separation strength is preferably to be 200g/cm or less and 1g/mm or more. More preferably, it is to be 150g/cm or less and 1g/cm or more and, further preferably, it is to be 100g/cm or less and 1g/cm or more.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve silicone oil absorbing properties, ink absorbing properties, toner fixing properties, printability and water resistance by coating at least one face of a plastic film with a recording layer wherein a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin, a colloidal silica, a hydrophilic polymer resin and a silicone are main ingredients. SOLUTION: At least one face of a plastic film is coated with a recording layer wherein a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin, a colloidal silica, a hydrophilic polymer resin and a silicone are main ingredients. As the silicone, all the so-called silicone oils are used. The content of the silicone in the recording layer is made about 0.001-10wt.%. When the content of the silicone is less than 0.001wt.%, spherulite which the crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin substantially has is easily formed and unevenness and cracks are generated on the surface of the recording layer and it is not pref. In addition, when the content of the silicone exceeds 10wt.%, ink is repelled and the quality of image decreases and transparency of the recording layer decreases.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet having improved ink-absorbing characteristics in which the surface of a receiving layer has a proper frosting property. SOLUTION: In the recording sheet, a receiving layer having, as a major component, a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin formed from extrusion laminate is provided on a base material. In this case, plastic films or paper having surface roughness Ra of 0.1μm-5μm are stacked on the surface of the receiving layer and peeling strength of the receiving layer and the plastic film, or films or paper is 200g/cm or less. The surface of the receiving layer of the record sheet has proper frosting property, improved ink absorbing property, image quality, and water resistance, and hence the record sheet can be prefereably used in various ways such as monochrome and color ink jet printer recording sheet, heat sensitive ink receiving body including sublimation type one, fabric ink receiving body or carbon ink receiving body, offset printing, and flexography printing.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anti-bacterial drawn polyester film with a layer with good adhesivity on the surface of a stretched polyester film and excellent scratch resistance and exhibiting an anti-bacterial effect even when a small amt. of an anti-bacterial agent is used by providing a layer consisting of an inorg. compd. contg. silver with a specified particle diameter and a synthetic resin. SOLUTION: An anti-bacterial stretched polyester film with a layer consisting of an inorg. compd. contg. silver with a particle diameter of at most 1μm is provided. The inorg. compd. contg. silver is prepd. by depositing a substance contg. silver ion and silver complex ion (thiosulfate silver ion, etc.,) on zeolite, silicate gel phosphoric acid complex salt and hydroxyapatite. The amt. of fixing of the inorg. compd. contg. silver is pref. in the range of 2%-15% and when it is at least 30%, decrease in transparency and dropping out of the inorg. compd. contg. silver occur and it is therefore unsuitable. As a binder for coating the inorg. compd., polyesters, polyurethanes etc., are applied.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ink absorbance, water resistance, moisture resistance and coloring properties by forming an ink receiving layer of a lower layer principally comprising a hydrophilic polymer resin and an upper layer principally comprising an inorganic hydrophilic colloidal substance. SOLUTION: The recording sheet comprises a receiving layer formed at least on one side of a basic material of polyester film. The receiving layer has a lower layer principally comprising a polymer resin containing a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin, especially a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin and a cationic copolymer, and an upper layer principally comprising an inorganic hydrophilic colloidal substance, e.g. colloidal silica, colloidal alumina or colloidal iron oxide. Thicknesses d1, d2 of the lower and upper layers are set to satisfy a relationship d1>d2. When the thickness d2 of the upper layer exceeds the thickness d1 of the lower layer, transparency is lowered and curl is increased. The thickness d2 of the upper layer is set in the range of 0.1-10 μm. When it is thinner than 0.1 μm, water resistance and coloring properties are lowered and it is thicker than 10 μm, transparency is lowered and curl is increased.
