    Abstract: A polyester film for use in a laminate with a metal plate comprises a polyester-group resin containing a white pigment having a mean particle diameter of 0.01 to 1.8 mu m at a content of 10 to 30% by weight. The film has (a) a void ratio of 4 to 30%, (b) a melting peak temperature of 150 to 245 DEG C , (c) an amount of oligomer of not more than 3% by weight and (d) an orientation degree of 0.7 to 4.0. When the film is laminated on a metal, it can provide excellent light interruptive, lamination, forming and processing properties.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a metal-film laminate comprising a metal plate and a biaxially oriented polyester-group film laminated on the metal plate. The orientation degree of the film is controlled such that, when the thickness of the film is represented by "T" and a mean orientation degree of the film in the area from the metal-plate side surface to a position of T/2 in the thickness direction of the film is represented by "X", an orientation degree of the film in the area from the metal-plate side surface to the position of T/2 is in the range of X ~ 0.5X and an orientation degree of the film at the non-metal-plate side surface is not less than 2X. When the metal-film laminate is processed by drawing etc., an excellent drawing property and an excellent impact resistance of an obtained metal-film laminated product can be achieved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make anti-bacterial effect great and to make an anti-bacterial function to be kept for a long time by laminating and drawing in various combinations film layers contg. inorg. compd. contg. silver. SOLUTION: An anti-bacterial composite stretched polyester film prepd. by laminating a film layer A and a film layer B both contg. inorg. compd. contg. silver into A/B and A/B/A is provided. The composite drawn polyester film with a combination of A/B or A/B/A is a biaxially stretched film prepd. by extruding polyester polymers through a composite nozzle in a constitution of A/B or A/B/A and making it into a sheet (casting), and drawing this composite sheet by, e.g. 2 to 6-fold in the longitudinal direction and furthermore, stretching the film by 2 to 6-fold in the transverse direction and heat-setting it. As the inorg. compd. contg. silver, those compd. in which silver ions are carried on an inorg. compd. are used and zeolite, zirconium phosphate and montmorillonite are applicable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a white film which is excellent in heat resistance, wet-heat resistance, and formability and esp. suitable for forming after fusion with a metal by using a polyester resin contg. a specified amt. of specific titanium oxide particles. CONSTITUTION:Titanium oxide particles having an average particle size of 0.1-1.2mum and a loss on drying of 0.8% or lower is incorporated into a polyester resin pref. contg. 5.0mol% structural units derived from 4C or higher aliph. acids and alcohols. The resulting polyester resin compsn. is formed into film, to obtain a white polyester film which is excellent in impact strength and formability and esp. suitable for forming after fusion with a metal without detriment to excellent gloss (whiteness) and light-intercepting properties.
