Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent release of excess steam into air, by setting a feeding port of steam at a yarn inlet of heating column and a suction port of steam at a yarn outlet, separating the suction port into two stages along the traveling direction of yarn. CONSTITUTION:The yarn inlet 7 and the yarn outlet 8 are set at both the ends of the heating column 1, the feeding port 9 of steam is set at the yarn inlet, and the suction ports 12 and 21 of steam at the yarn outlet. Steam is sucked by the suction port 12, excess steam which will follow partially the traveling yarn Y and go downwards from the yarn outlet 8 is sucked by the suction port 21, and steam is prevented from being released as steam as it is.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To cool and condensate steam following traveling yarn by a cooling pipe, by setting a drain collecting pipe having an inner wall face slanting to the end of an outlet of the cooling pipe extending from a yarn outlet of heat-treating zone of yarn to the outside of insulating jacket. CONSTITUTION:The cooling pipe 16 extending from the yarn outlet 8 of the heat-treating zone 2 to the outside of the insulating jacket 3, and the drain collecting pipe 18 having an inner wall face slanting in the vertical direction is laid at the end of an outlet of the cooling pipe 16. Drain condensed by the cooling pipe 16 is gathered in one position by the drain collecting pipe, and the drain can be prevented from attaching itself to the traveling yarn Y.

CONSTITUTION:The yarn inlet 7 and the yarn outlet 8 are set at both the ends of the heating column 1, the feeding port 9 of steam is laid at the yarn inlet and the suction port 12 of steam at the yarn outlet, respectively. The suction port 12 is installed in such a way that it is covered with the insulating jacket 3, draining of superheated steam at the suction port 12 is prevented, inhibition of flow of superheated steam caused by drain and abnormalization of flow rate are avoided, to suppress occurrence of unevenness of yarn.
