Abstract: PURPOSE:To lessen unevenness of yarn occurring in yarn, by setting a feed port and a suction port of heating fluid at a yarn inlet and a yarn outlet at both the ends of a heating column surrounded by insulating jacket, respectively. CONSTITUTION:At both the ends of the heating column 1 surrounded by the insulating jacket 3, the yarn inlet 7 and the yarn outlet 8 having a cross-section more tightened than a cross-section of the heat-treating zone 2 are set. The feeding port 9 of heating fluid is laid at the yarn inlet, and the suction port 12 of heating fluid at the yarn outlet. The heating medium blown from the feeding port 9 is made to flow in the traveling direction of the yarn Y, and it is forcibly sucked from the suction port 12, to prevent shaking of the yarn.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate occurrence of yarn-to-yarn variation of yarn of multiple positions resulting from heat treatment, by storing plural heating columns in one insulating jacket, feeding steam from one head tank set in the insulating jacket through a branched pipe to a heat-treating zone. CONSTITUTION:The plural heating columns 1 and the single head tank 10 are set in the insulating jacket 3, and steam is sent through the feed pipe 11 to the head tank 10, and stored temporarily. The steam is then separated into the plural branched pipes 12, distributed into the flow regulating chamber 14, sent from the feeding port 9 to each of the heat-treating zones 2, to heat-treat the traveling yarn Y.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond end plates and a cylinder firmly by clamping the cylinder and both end plates by means of a clamping element through a shaft running through the center of both end plates and bringing both end plates into contact with the cylinder end surface. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced plastic cylinder 1 and end plates 2 and 3 disposed on both ends of the cylinder 1 are provided. A shaft 4 running through the center of both end plates 2 and 3 is installed, and the cylinder 1 and the end plates 2 and 3 are clamped by a clamping element consisting of a mounting seat 5, bolts 7, a male screw 6, nuts 9, a sealing material 8 and the like through said shaft 4. A round tray 14 with a through flow hole 16 opened through the shaft 4 in the cylinder 1 is mounted, and a notch tongue piece 15 close to the inner wall of the cylinder 1 is provided on a ring section of said round tray 14. As a result, bonding of the cylinder 1 and end plates 2 and 3 becomes firm to generate good rotation balance and high rated number of rotations. Also, mounting and dismounting of the cylinder and the end plates can be carried out easily and separated substances in a rotating body can be removed and cleaned easily.
