Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate film having a good surface flatness and high adhesion between a thermoplastic resin film and a heat resistant resin film and showing good heat resistance and solvent resistance. SOLUTION: A laminate film is manufactured by laminating a heat resistant resin layer containing a resin made of an polyamide acid with its imidization ratio of not less than 50% as a major component on at least one surface of a biaxially stretched thermoplastic resin film wherein the heat resistant resin layer is directly bonded to the surface of the biaxially stretched thermoplastic resin film.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film which shows high bending strength for the small thickness and further, far outstanding tear resistance which generally tends to deteriorate when the elastic modulus of an ordinary film is high. SOLUTION: This laminated polyester film has a laminated coating film containing inorganic plate particles and a water-soluble or a water-dispersed resin as main constituted components formed at least on one of the faces of a polyester film. The elastic modulus of at least either of the long axial direction or the width direction of the film is 6 GPa or more.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce abrasion and to improve lubricity by forming the number of recessions of a specified ratio on the surface of a biaxially oriented heat resistant film. SOLUTION: A heat resistant film in which its heat resistant resin has no melting point and no decomposition point in its glass transition point 200-300 deg.C is formed, for example, from an aromatic polyamide resin or its precursor. The biaxially oriented heat resistant film is obtained by stretching the unstretched film 1.05-3.0 times in both longitudinal and cross directions and heat-treating the stretched film. In this process, fine recessions of 3000-500,000/mm2 are formed on the surface of the film. When the number of the recessions is below 3000/mm2 enough lubricity can not be obtained. When the number of the recessions is above 500,000/mm2, no further improvement is obtained. The average central line roughness of the surface having the recessions of 3-100 nm is desirable in terms of lubricity and smoothness.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a novel heat resistant resin film in place of a metal belt method which deteriorates the quality of the film by flaws and corrosion. SOLUTION: A layer containing a heat resistant resin as a main component which is dissolved in a solvent is applied at least on one side of a polyester film which was stretched biaxially to complete crystal orientation. The coated film, after being dried, is subjected to a process in which the heat resistant film layer is peeled off from the polyester film, a process in which the separated heat resistant film is stretched in the longitudinal direction and/or in the width direction, and a process in which the stretched film is heat-set.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To laminate uniformly at a high speed by a method in which a layer mainly containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar non-protonic solvent is applied on at least one side of a thermoplastic film before the completion of crystal orientation, preliminary stretching is done at the boiling point of the solvent or below, and heat treatment is done at the boiling point of the solvent or above. SOLUTION: A layer mainly containing a heat resistant resin soluble in a dipolar non-protonic solvent is applied on at least one side of a thermoplastic film before the completion of crystal orientation, and the film is stretched at a temperature below the boiling point of the solvent by a preliminary and simultaneous biaxial orientation method and heat-treated at a temperature above the boiling point of the solvent. A polyester film is preferable as the thermoplastic film in terms of transparency, dimensional stability, mechanical properties, adhesion to a heat resistant resin layer to be laminated, and others. As the solvent, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, dimethylformamide, dimethylsulfoxide, and others are used. An aromatic polyamide is preferable is a heat resistant resin.

SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented laminated polyester film is obtained by providing a lamination part comprising an organic polymer or inorganic matter on at least one surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film and the elastic modulus in the longitudinal direction and/or lateral direction of this film is 7.0 GPa or more, the heat shrinkage factor thereof at 100 deg.C measured in the same direction is 0.50% or less and the creep compliance thereof after the elapse of 30 min under a load condition of 28 MPa at 50 deg.C measured in the same direction is 0.05-0.30 GPa-1.
