Abstract: Un sistema de tratamiento de fluido (10, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) que comprende: una entrada; una salida; una zona de tratamiento de fluido dispuesta entre la entrada y la salida, la zona de tratamiento de fluido: (i) comprendiendo una primera superficie de pared y una segunda superficie de pared opuesta a la primera superficie de pared, y (ii) habiendo dispuesta en la misma al menos una disposición de filas de conjuntos de fuentes de radiación ultravioleta (30, 130, 230, 330, 430, 530, 630); teniendo cada conjunto de fuente de radiación ultravioleta un eje longitudinal transversal a una dirección de flujo de fluido a través de la zona de tratamiento de fluido; caracterizado por lo siguiente: comprendiendo cada una de la primera superficie de pared y la segunda superficie de pared un primer elemento deflector de fluido (222) y un segundo elemento deflector de fluido (223), prolongándose el primer elemento deflector de fluido (222) en la zona de tratamiento de fluido en mayor grado que el segundo elemento deflector de fluido (223) definiendo el sistema de tratamiento de fluido un canal abierto (115, 215, 315, 415, 515) a través del cual el fluido puede fluir entre una pareja adyacente de conjuntos de fuente de radiación ultravioleta; estando todas las filas en la disposición dispuestas al tresbolillo una con respecto a la otra en una dirección ortogonal a la dirección de flujo de fluido a través de la zona de tratamiento de fluido tal que el canal entre una pareja adyacente de conjuntos de fuente de radiación ultravioleta en una fila corriente arriba de los conjuntos de fuente de radiación ultravioleta está parcial o totalmente obstruido en la dirección de flujo de fluido por al menos dos filas de conjuntos de fuente de radiación ultravioleta corriente abajo dispuestas en serie.

Abstract: There is described a radiation source module for use in a fluid treatment system. The radiation source module comprises: a housing having an inlet, an outlet and a fluid treatment zone disposed between. The fluid treatment zone comprises a first wall surface and a second wall surface interconnected by a floor surface. The first wall surface, the second wall surface and the floor surface are configured to receive a flow of fluid through the fluid treatment zone. The radiation source module further comprises at least one radiation source assembly secured with respect to the first wall surface and the second wall surface and a module motive coupling element connected to the housing and configured to be coupled to a module motive element to permit the radiation source module to be installed in and extracted from the fluid treatment system. A fluid treatment system comprising the radiation source module is also described.

The fluid treatment system is particularly useful for us in clean water applications in which ultraviolet radiation is used to treat the water while having the advantages of in situ cleaning of the radiation sourc e when it becomes fouled.

A fluid treatment device comprise the cleaning apparatus is also described.
