Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a take-up package which is of good quality and excellent in unreeling properties, by a method wherein, in a take-up package of false twisted thread on which interlacing-processing is applied, a broken selvage amount of an inner layer part is decreased over that of an outer layer part. CONSTITUTION:When a false twisted thread on which air interlacing processing is applied is reeled, a broken selvage amount (d) of an inner layer part is, as shown by lines B and C, decreased over that of an outer layer, and this provides a package which satisfies both a pile-up selvage and cob-webbing. A broke selvage amount d1 of an inner layer part is usually set to 0-10mm, preferably 2-6mm, so that cob-webbing is prevented from occurring. A broke selvage amount d2 or d3 of an outer layer part is usually set to 5-20mm, preferably 5-15mm, with a view of a condition of preventing the occurrence of pile-up selvage. This enables provision of a package having excellent unreeling properties.
