Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for measuring temperature of exhaust valve of engine is provided to achieve improved accuracy of measurement by directly measuring temperature of exhaust valve, while preventing damage of valve spring. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a temperature measuring unit mounted to an exhaust valve so as to directly measure temperature of the exhaust valve; and a transmitting unit for transmitting the signal output from the temperature measuring unit to outside of the exhaust valve. The temperature measuring unit includes a thermocouple(20) installed in a head(12) through a stem(11) of the exhaust valve. The transmitting unit includes a pair of electrodes(22) mounted at the outer surface of the stem and connected to each line of the thermocouple; brushes(23) tightly contacting the electrodes so as to receive current; and springs(24) interposed between the rear surface of each brush and an engine room so as to press the brushes.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A shaft alignment apparatus and method is provided to allow the shaft alignment procedures to be performed in a convenient manner, while significantly improving accuracy of the shaft alignment. CONSTITUTION: A shaft alignment apparatus(10) comprises a diode light source(27) for emitting laser light toward front; and laser light radiating units(26) arranged to be movable in both X axis and Y axis directions by an X axis transport unit(16) and a Y axis transport unit(17).
