Abstract:
An aircraft has a fuselage substantially designed as an aerostatic lifting body and combined lifting and propelling devices joined to the fuselage, provided with propellers and forming driving units which can tilt between a lifting position, in which the plane of rotation of the respective propeller is substantially horizontal and the driven shaft of the associated drive that drives the propeller shaft is substantially vertical, and a propelling position in which the plane of rotation of the respective propeller is substantially vertical and the driven shaft of the associated drive that drives the propeller shaft is substantially horizontal. The plane of rotation of the propeller can swivel around the driven shaft of the associated drive that drives the propeller shaft.
Abstract:
The invention relates to aviation namely to flying vehicles adapted to ride on an air cushion and to effect a take-off and landing on aerodromes of any category. The goal of the invention is to design a flying vehicle capable of aerodynamically efficient flight both at low and high level flight, as well as take-off and landing from non-prepared aerodromes and from water under the conditions of stabilization and movement control of all flight regimes. The goal is achieved due to the fact that in a flying vehicle comprising a fuselage in the form of a carrying wing, a power installation, a take-off and landing air cushion device, a gasodynamic system of boundary layer control, a device for controlling the position of flow leaving the trailing edge as well as stabilization and flight control systems, the take-off and landing air cushion device consists of a propelling slot nozzle (12) and side skegs (17) between which are mounted rotatable flaps (21, 22, 23) controlling the flight of the vehicle and regulating the position of the pressure centre on the bottom. The fuselage has the form of a cylindrical segment conjugating at its sides with spherical fairings.
Abstract:
A hybrid airship-aerostat includes a hull, a motor, a fin, a controller, and a bridle system. The motor is coupled to the hull and is configured to rotate between a thrust configuration and a lift configuration. The motor is configured to generate a lift force, a thrust force, or a combination thereof. The fin is coupled to a tail of the hull and is configured to provide directional control of the hull. The controller is configured to operate the motor and the fin to pilot the hull. The bridle system is configured to removably couple to a first end of a tether.

Abstract:
A flight vehicle includes a drone with a pair of shaped protrusions mechanically coupled to the drone. One of the shapes is a hollow lift-producing shape, such as being a balloon filed with a lighter-than-air gas, and the other of the shapes is below the drone. The shape below the drone may be a hollow shape that does not produce lift, for example being a balloon filled with air. The shapes may be similar in size and shape, so as to provide similar drag characteristics. The shapes may be opposite ends of a support, such as a stick, rod, or other (relatively) slender structure. The vehicle includes a payload, such as radar calibration equipment or an antenna. The drone may be used to counteract wind forces on the flight vehicle, and/or to otherwise position the flight vehicle.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a system that provides an environmentally friendly method to clean air over towns and cities. The system utilizes tourmaline filters and rocks, sunlight, and water to simulate the cleaning properties of waterfalls in order to create an ionized surface within a cylindrical tube and creates raindrops and mist to simulate precipitation. The system eliminates pollutants instead of transferring them to the surrounding environment.
Abstract:
An airship is provided. The airship includes a hull configured to contain a gas, at least one propulsion assembly coupled to the hull and including a propulsion device, and at least one aerodynamic component including a plurality of fairing structures including one or more slats, wherein the at least one aerodynamic component is associated with the hull and is configured to direct airflow around the airship.
Abstract:
Modern farming is currently being done by powerful ground equipment or aircraft that weigh several tons and treat uniformly tens of hectares per hour. Automated farming can use small, agile, lightweight, energy-efficient automated robotic equipment that flies to do the same job, even able to farm on a plant-by-plant basis, allowing for new ways of farming. A hybrid airship-drone has both passive lift provided by a gas balloon and active lift provided by propellers. A hybrid airship-drone may be cheaper, more stable in flight, and require less maintenance than other aerial vehicles such as quadrocopters. However, hybrid airship-drones may also be larger in size and have more inertia that needs to be overcome for starting, stopping and turning.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a multipurpose airship and, more particularly, to a hybrid dirigible. The airship comprises a body (2) having a parallelepiped shape and docking means (8) comprising four rods connected by a frame and designed to be extractable from the body (2), the ends of these rods being provided each with at least one vacuum cup for adhering to a substantially vertical surface of a building. The docking means (8) are provided with grips adapted to engage with the docking means (8) of another airship of the same design. The invention also relates to a set of airships including at least two said airships. The proposed airship does not require a lot of space for its takeoff and provides fast and secure evacuation of people from tower buildings. In addition, the invention provides the possibility of varying the airship payload directly in flight depending of specific needs.
