Abstract: PURPOSE: An acceleration pedal device for a vehicle is provided to minimize differences of pedal efforts which a driver feels according to a position of an operation unit in an acceleration pedal. CONSTITUTION: An acceleration pedal device(1) comprises a main pedal arm(10), a sub pedal arm(20), a main pad(30), a sub pad(40), and a main elastic member(50). The main pedal arm is rotatably mounted on a pedal arm bracket mounted on a dash panel. The sub pedal arm is connected to the pedal arm bracket and is selectively accommodated in a groove unit(11) of the main pedal arm. The main pad is connected to a pad bracket(3) mounted on a floor panel of a vehicle and is rotatably mounted on the main pedal arm. The sub pad is rotatably mounted on the sub pedal arm and is rotatably connected through the main pad. The main elastic member restores the main pad and the sub pad to a predetermined position through the main pedal arm and the sub pedal arm.
