Abstract:
A surface-mounted door holder-closer responsive to the products of combustion passing through multiple passageways formed in a holder-closer housing cover, a holder-closer assembly frame, and a static shield which is an integral part of an ionization chamber module. The ionization chamber module is insertable into the holder-closer frame with the frame and static shield not only defining the passageways, but also isolating the ion chamber from spurious static charges generated within the housing which would render a false alarm or false emergency door release. The frame also houses the principal components of the holder-closer, namely, a closer spring, a dashpot, a latching lever assembly, and an electromagnet responsive to modulated current flow in the ionization chamber to effect alarm or emergency release of the latching lever to close an otherwise open door. The integrated detector-holder-closer is advantageously and simply mounted on the lintel or header of a door frame.
Abstract:
A hinge (10) includes a hinge arm (18), a hinge cup (20), at least one resilient member (22), and a retaining member (24). The hinge cup (20) is pivotally connected with respect to the hinge arm (18) and includes a receiving room (26). The resilient member (22) is mounted in the receiving room (26) of the hinge cup (20). The retaining member (24) is mounted at the resilient member (22).
Abstract:
A door hinge having a damping function, comprising a housing, a first rotating shaft, a second rotating shaft, a U-shaped rotating shaft, a hinge cup, a linkage member, a torsion spring, a connector, a supporting structure, and a damping structure; one end of the linkage member is rotationally provided in the housing by means of the first rotating shaft, and the other end of the linkage member is rotationally connected to the hinge cup by means of one arm of the U-shaped rotating shaft; one end of the connector is rotationally provided in the housing by means of the second rotating shaft, and the other end of the connector is rotationally connected to the hinge cup by means of the other arm of the U-shaped rotating shaft; the torsion spring is fitted over the second rotating shaft.
Abstract:
A drive device (1) for a movable furniture part (2), comprising an ejection force accumulator (3) which can be tensioned, an ejection element (4) mechanically loaded by the ejection force accumulator (3) and used to carry out an ejection movement (A) of the moveable furniture part (2) from a closed position (SS) into an open position (OS). The ejection movement (A) can be initiated by a compression movement (Ü) of the movable furniture part (2) into a compression position (ÜS) which is behind the closed position (SS). The drive device also comprises a tensioning device (5) for tensioning the ejection force accumulator (3) with energy (E) which can be emitted by the ejection movement (A). During the compression movement (Ü), at least 50% of the energy (E) emitted by the ejection force accumulator (3) during the ejection movement (A) can be introduced into the ejection force accumulator (3) by the tensioning device (5).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The shell having at least two elements, totally encloses a hinge for furniture and has a female element (1) applicable to one of the movable (5) or fixed (9) parts of the hinge for furniture and a fixed male element (7) applicable on the other of the fixed (9) or movable (5) parts of the hinge for furniture, the female element (1) is hingedly connectable to a joint (3) integral with the movable (5) or fixed (9) part of the hinge for furniture or directly with the part of the piece of furniture on which the respective movable (5) or fixed (9) part of the hinge is fixed, biasing or guiding means being provided by means of which the female element (1), during the movement of 10 the hinge, is biased or guided in such a way to slide over the male element (7) secured to the other fixed (9) or movable (5) part of the hinge for furniture.
