Abstract: The process output value is shifted for performing a pretuning to obtain a coefficient value. A mode 1 is implemented by pulling up the initial input value to an imaginary set point. Then errors are corrected, to obtain an approximate value, and then, an accurate value is obtained. In this way, the input value y(t) is processed to extract the coefficients for a proportionate coefficient value (P), an integral coefficient value (I) and a differential coefficient value (D).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for mutual authentication in downloadable conditional access system are provided to reduce maintenance costs by moving entity authentication based on hardware.
