Abstract:
PURPOSE: A dual media gateway device in an ATM switching system is provided to mount ATM physical layer boards and ATM layer functional boards in dual methods, and to separately manage the mounted boards, thereby implementing high reliability and high transmission efficiency when transmitting voice and data. CONSTITUTION: An APIA(ATM Physical Layer Interface Assembly)-A(13) and an APIA-B(14) perform physical layer functions by interfacing with an AIM(ATM Interface Module)(11). An MMCA(Media Gateway Module Control Assembly)-A(15) and an MMCA-B(16) perform ATM layer functions. SUs(Service Units)(17,18) perform narrowband network interworking functions. An alarm block(19) informs a maintenance process of monitored results on the APIA-A(13) and the APIA-B(14), and replaces a link of the AIM(11) with the APIA-A(13) or the APIA-B(14). Either of the MMCA-A(15) and the MMCA-B(16) is activated, and activates either of the APIA-A(13) and the APIA-B(14) to be interfaced with the AIM(11). The inactivated MMCA is activated if the activated MMCA is abnormal.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A narrowband network interworking MGS(Media Gateway System) is provided to connect a frame relay network, an N-ISDN and a PSTN through a DS1/E1/DS3 interface, to execute a traffic control function for received user cells, to transmit inviolate user cells to an ATM switching system, and to terminate IPC(Inter Processor Communication) cells. CONSTITUTION: A narrowband network interworking MGS consists of an MMCH(Media gateway Module Control Hardware block)(30), an APIA-a(ATM Physical layer Interface board Assembly-a)(31), an APIA-b(32), an MMCA-a(Media gateway Module Control board Assembly-a)(33), an MMCA-b(34), an AATA(AAL2 Trunking board Assembly)(35), an NTIA(N-ISDN Trunk Interface board assembly)(36), an MCIA(Medium speed Circuit emulation Interface board Assembly)(37), a CEIA(Circuit Emulation Interface board Assembly)(38), and an FRIA(Frame Relay Interface board Assembly)(39). The APIA-a(31) and the APIA-b(32) have a 155Mbps physical layer interface function. The MMCA-a(33) and the MMCA-b(34), connected with the APIA-a(31) and the APIA-b(32) through dual serial cell buses, have an ATM layer function and control the narrowband network interworking MGS. The AATA(35), connected with the MMCA-a(33) and the MMCA-b(34) through serial cell buses, executes an AAL2 trunking function. The NTIA(36) executes an N-ISDN trunk interworking function. The MCIA(37) executes a DS3 circuit emulation service function. The CEIA(38) executes a DS1/E1 circuit emulation service function. The FRIA(39) executes the interworking function between a frame relay network and an ATM network.

본 발명은 사용자와 망 간에 협상한 트래픽 파라미터를 위반하지 않고 입력된 ATM 셀이 교환기, 다중화기 등과 같은 망의 전송 장치를 거치면서 발생되는 셀 지연 변이(CDV : Cell Delay Variation)로 인하여 트래픽 파라미터를 위반하는 것을 방지하기 위한 비동기 전송 모드 교환 시스템에서의 셀 스페이싱 장치 및 그 방법과 상기 방법을 실현시키기 위한 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록매체를 제공하기 위하여, 여러 개의 셀 슬롯으로 구성된 캘린더 버퍼에서 임의의 위치에 있는 슬롯에 셀을 저장하고, 각 슬롯에 저장되어 있는 셀을 셀 타임 슬롯마다 차례대로 출력하여 셀을 저장하는 시각과 읽어가는 시각의 차이로 셀의 출발 시각을 지연시키기 위한 셀 지연 수단; 상기 셀 스페이싱 장치로 입력되는 셀의 협상 파라미터 값을 파라미터 테이블 메모리에서 읽어와서 셀의 속도를 감시하고 셀 지연 변이를 계산하여 셀의 출발 시각을 결정하기 위한 셀 출발 시각 결정 수단; 및 상기 셀 출발 시각 결정 수단을 통해 전달된 셀이 상기 셀 지연 수단의 슬롯에 저장될 때 셀의 충돌을 방지하기 위하여 셀의 출발 시각을 조정하는 셀 충돌 방지수단을 포함하며, 본 발명은 비동기 전송 모드 교환 시스템 등에 이용됨.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cell spacing apparatus and method in an ATM switching system is provided to prevent an ATM cell, inputted without violating a traffic parameter negotiated between a user and a network, from violating the traffic parameter due to a CDV(Cell Delay Variation) generated while passing through network transmission equipments. CONSTITUTION: A cell spacing apparatus in an ATM switching system includes a calender buffer(31), a cell start time calculator(32), and a cell collision prevention controller(33). The calender buffer(31) accesses each slot every cell time slot in turn, outputs the cells stored in a slot one by one, and delays a cell start time using the difference between the time of storing cells and the time of reading cells. The cell start time calculator(32) reads a negotiated parameter value for an inputted cell from a parameter table memory(34), monitors the speed of the cell, calculates a CVD, and obtains the start time of the cell. The cell collision prevention controller(33), in the case of storing a cell in the slot corresponding to the calculated cell start time, finds the next empty slot if the slot is full, and stores the cell in the empty slot.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for managing the addresses of a buffer operated by a linked list in an ATM exchange is provided to restore a temporarily generated linked list error and to offer services without executing resetting and restarting additionally by detecting and deleting a duplicated address and finding and recovering a lost address, in the process of requesting address storage to an address pool or storing addresses in the address pool. CONSTITUTION: If an address pool receives an address storage request from a buffer management part(S210), the address pool checks whether the test state is under the test(S220). In case that the present state is under the test, the address pool confirms whether the requested address is a test address(S230). If the requested address is a test address, the address pool discards the requested address after reporting that the requested address is a duplicated address(S240). However, in case that the requested address is not a test address, the address pool adds '1' to the number of stored addresses and stores the requested address in the address pool(S250). Meanwhile, if the test state is not under the test, the address pool sets the start time to '0'(S260). Then the address pool stores the requested address and adds '1' to the number of stored addresses(S270).

PURPOSE: A method for generating a message in an SVC(Switched Virtual Channel) proxy for the interworking of PVC(Permanent Virtual Channel) and the SVC, and a method for managing message parameter information, are provided to implement a management table for mutually mapping related information for the interworking of a PVC function and an SVC function. CONSTITUTION: The first management table is configured, for managing a PVC(Permanent Virtual Channel) state and information related to a subscriber managed by an SVC(Switched Virtual Channel) proxy by the unit of subscriber. The second management table is configured, for managing a call connection state and parameter information related to an SVC message managed by the proxy by the unit of call number. A message of PVC is received and analyzed in the SVC proxy, to change information of the corresponding subscriber of the first management table and process response according to the kind of the received message. A signaling message inputted from the SVC proxy is received, to store/change information loaded on the message and call state information in the second management table. A signaling message from the SVC proxy is generated and transmitted referring to the second management table, and a call state is managed in the second management table.

본 발명은 프레임 릴레이 PVC(영구가상연결)에서 SVC(교환가능 가상연결)로의 자연스러운 도입 과정상에서 프레임 릴레이 SVC망에서 기존 프레임 릴레이 PVC 단말을 수용하기 위한 SVC 프록시(proxy) 기능의 구현방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 프레임 릴레이 PVC용 단말이 프레임 릴레이 SVC 단말 또는 타 프레임 릴레이 PVC 단말과 통신할 수 있도록 SVC 망에 접속되어 사용될 수 있도록 하여서 프레임 릴레이 PVC 서비스의 제공에서 SVC 서비스 수용으로의 천이를 하기 위해서, Q.933 Annex A 기능과 Q.933 기능을 독립적으로 수행하고, 그 두 기능의 매핑 기능을 수행하며 Q.933 관련 신호 메시지를 생성하기 위해 관련 호별로 메시지내의 파라미터 정보 테이블을 관리하는 SVC 프록시의 프로토콜 스택을 구비하여서, 프레임 릴레이 PVC 단말이 착신인 경우, 발신인 경우, 발신 또는 착신인 경우에 따라 착신호 신호 절차, 발신호 신호 절차, 호 복구 신호 절차를 수행한다. 이에 따라서, 본 발명은 망 사업자들의 경우, SVC 기능의 도입으로 인한 망자원의 효율화와 새로운 응용 서비스의 도입이 용이하고 기존 PVC 사용자를 수용함으로써 서비스 제공의 연속성을 확보할 수 있는 것이다.

PURPOSE: A method for realizing the proxy function of an SVC(Switched Virtual Connection) is provided to accept existed FR(Frame Relay) PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) terminal in a frame relay SVC network while introducing from the FR PVC to the SVC. CONSTITUTION: A frame relay PVC terminal receives a message, an FR SVC network transfers a call establishing demand to an SVC proxy when a transferring FR SVC terminal demands a call establishment to the FR SVC network. Then, the SVC proxy demands the state information for the connection to a receiving FR PVC terminal for deciding if the call establishing demand is approved. Herein, if the response from the receiving FR PVC is in an activated state, the approval for the call is transferred to the network. Then, the network transfers the call connection to the transferring FR SVC for establishing the connection between the ends to communicate between the terminals of the receiving FR PVC and the transferring FR PVC. When a demanding message of restoration is transferred to the network for stopping the communication between the ends, the network transfers the message to the SVC proxy to transfer a confirming message of restoration to the network. Therefore, when the receiving FR PVC terminal receives a state demand for the corresponding connection, the SVC proxy responses to the connection in an inactivated state to completely restore the connection between the ends.

본 발명은 시각 장애인의 대화 수단인 시각 장애자용 키보드 및 브레일리(Braille)를 이용한 입·출력시스템과 청각 장애인의 대화 수단인 수화에 사용되는 팔에 부착시킨 위치 및 방향센서(41)(42)와 손에 부착시킨 관절 센서를 컴퓨터에 설치하여 의사 전달 시스템을 구성하므로 시각 장애인과 청각 장애인의 상호간에 의사를 전달할 수 있는 시각 장애인과 청각 장애인의 의사 전달을 위한 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
