An opening-closing device for an opening-closing body characterized in that: an inner guide (6) has a first restricting part (61) which is elastic and a second restricting part (62) and forms a confining structure (S) such that the first restricting part (61) and the second restricting part (62) prevent an inner cable (5) from escaping out of the inner guide (6). The inner cable (5) is disposed in the confining structure (S) by being moved due to tension applied to the inner cable (5) and pressing on and bending the first restricting part (61). By using this device, an opening-closing device for an opening-closing body can be provided for which inserting an inner cable is simple and for which the inner cable after insertion does not escape even when moving in the inner guide.

An object of the present invention is to provide an automatic opening and closing apparatus for vehicle, which is improved so that the amount of lengthwise movement of an opening and closing element in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is increased as much as possible. An automatic opening and closing apparatus for vehicle, which moves a slide door 13 to open and close an opening section 11, the automatic opening and closing apparatus comprises: a guide rail 16 located along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 14; a cable 26 connected to the slide door 13; and a rear-side pulley unit 29 located on the vehicle body 14, wherein the guide rail 16 and the rear-side pulley unit 29 are located at positions different from each other in a width direction of the vehicle body 14, the rear end of the guide rail 16 and the rear-side pulley unit are located at the same position in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 14, and the automatic opening and closing apparatus further comprises: an auxiliary member which keeps the cable 26, which is routed between the slide door 13 and the rear pulley unit 29, in a predetermined state.

[Means for Resolution] A wind regulator includes a drum configured to be able to rotate in a normal direction/reverse direction, an annular wire 71 partly wound around a drum, guide members 81, 83, 91 and 93 configured to guide the wire 71 in such a manner that the wire 71 is arranged along a direction of upward and downward movement of a window glass 53, slack preventing means configured to urge the wire 71 in a stretching direction and eliminate the slack of the wire 71, and window glass mounting means 101 and 103 configured to mount the window glass 53 to a portion of the wire 71 extending along the direction of upward and downward movement of the window glass 53, and a bracket 131 being mounted rotatably on the inner panel and having the guide member 83, and being configured to guide the guide member 83 to a mounting position on the inner panel is provided.

A drive unit 20 for a power operated vehicle closure 12 has a track 24, a guide 26 moveable along the track, a link 34 attached to the guide at one end and adapted to be attached to the vehicle closure at the opposite end, and a motor assembly 22 for moving the guide along the track. The motor assembly 22 has an electric motor 36 and a speed reducer driven by the electric motor that has a first stage and a second stage. The first stage includes a belt drive 40, 42, 44 and the second stage is a spur gear set 46, 48. Alternatively the first stage is a worm gear 140 and a mating helical gear 142. The worm gear preferably has a high lead angle and a high number of leads. The speed of the electric motor is reduced to about 1000 rpm or less in the first stage permitting the use of spur gears in the second stage while retaining quiet operation.
