Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unlock or open a door of an automobile with both hands in the completely free state. SOLUTION: In this device for unlocking the freely opened and closed members C, P of the automobile, the automobile side is provided with a control unit 2 for controlling a means for unlocking or opening the freely opened and closed members C, P, and a transmitter/receiver means 3 connected to the control unit 2, and a transmitter/receiver means 4 held by a user transmits an identification code to the transmitter/receiver means 3 of the automobile to open and close the freely opened and closed members C, P. The device further includes a detecting means 7 for detecting a user presence in the vicinity of the freely opened and closed members C, P and starting an inquiry to the transmitter/receiver means 4 held by the user on detecting the user presence. Abstract:
A door operator for a vehicle wherein resilient means couples the drive arm to the door to control the force applied by the door operator throughout the door closing cycle. The operator is compact and mountable in the side wall of the vehicle above the floor and includes an independent locking system, together with an emergency opening assembly.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides an opening/closing detection device, including: a plurality of sensors configured to be arranged along a predetermined portion of a mark attached to a vehicle; and a control unit configured to output an action trigger signal for instructing an opening action of an opening/closing body of the vehicle when detection signals representing a trace order of the predetermined portion are input from the plurality of sensors that detect an order of a motion of tracing the predetermined portion of the mark by a user of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the monitoring of signals of a proximity sensor for signal changes in the form of a characteristic first signal reply S 1 , which indicates a proximity to the proximity sensor (2). The signals of the proximity sensor are then observed for a period of time t s , wherein the method is interrupted if the signal reply of the proximity sensor changes within the period of time t s by more than a predetermined value s t . After the time period t s elapses, a signal apparatus is activated in order to signal the elapse of the actuating time to the operator. The signals of the proximity sensor are then monitored for a period of time te, wherein the method is only continued if the signal of the proximity sensor changes within the period of time t e by more than a predetermined value s e . In said case, the function is actuated on the motor vehicle.
