    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for improving transmission opportunity (TxOP) truncation in wireless communication. In some implementations, a transmit opportunity (TxOP) period truncation or whether to update a network allocation vector (NAV) timing based on a message that includes transmitter and receiver information (such as a transmitter address (TA) and a receiver address (RA)) may be determined. For example, a station may receive a contention-free end (CF-End) frame and determine a TxOP period truncation based on comparing a TA and an RA included in the CF-End frame with a TA and an RA included in an earlier received message (e.g., an RTS). Such information may be compared to other TAs or RAs associated with NAV timing values and the NAV timing may be set, reset, updated, or canceled based on the comparison.

In an embodiment, a method includes transmitting a trigger frame to two or more stations, the trigger frame indicating an uplink transmission opportunity, the trigger frame message further comprising a request that the two or more stations concurrently transmit uplink data at a specific time, wherein the trigger frame comprises a duration field that indicates only a duration of a physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) for a plurality of uplink data transmissions that the two or more stations are allowed to send. The method further includes receiving a plurality of uplink data from at least two stations at the specific time. Embodiments of the disclosure may provide an improved protocol for uplink transmissions from multiple terminals.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may receive a configuration message that includes overlapping basic service set (OBSS) coordination parameters. The OBSS coordination parameters may be used to select an OBSS preamble detection (PD) threshold or a transmission (TX) power, or both. For example, an OBSS coordination parameter may include an indication of an OBSS PD threshold or the TX power or a range of OBSS PD thresholds or TX powers. In some cases, the coordination parameter may include selection criteria that may be used to select the indicated OBSS PD threshold or TX power. Additionally or alternatively, a range of selection criteria may be used to select from a range of OBSS PD thresholds and TX powers. The wireless device may use the selected OBSS PD threshold or TX power to communicate with an AP or other devices.
