Individual elongate elements (wires 2 or strands 4) are drawn off stationary coils (21) in such a manner that the element (2,4) is elastically twisted. The elements (2,4) are guided to a stationary closing means (23) in which a bundle of the elements is formed, the elements immediately before being formed into the bundle being substantially free from any curvature that will result in residual slackness in the elongate member (1,3) being manufactured. The bundle is withdrawn from the closing means (23) and is simultaneously rotated about its axis so as to form the elongate member (strand 1 or rope 3) and substantially untwist the elongate elements (2,4). The product can be at least 300 m long.

Le procédé de fabrication d'un conducteur neutre porteur pour faisceau de conducteurs électriques ayantune âme métallique (2) constituée de fils métalliques (3) formés en toron, comprend au moins un tréfilage terminal sans lubrifiant de ces fils métalliques (3) en vue d'obtenir des fils dépourvus de trace de lubrifiant pour constituer l'âme (2) - une pose d'un ruban non endu en matière non collant, sur cette âme (2) pour constituer un revêtement séparateur (4) et une extrusion sous forte pression d'un matériau isolant sur ce revêtement séparateur (4) pour constituer une gaine extérieure qui pénètre avec ce revêtement séparateur dans les inégalités de surface de cette âme (2). Le procédé peut comprendre en outre une ovalisation de la section transversale de l'âme (2) et/ou une pose d'un élément antiglissant entre cette âme (2) et le revêtement séparateur (4).

The core strand has a core strand body, and a resin core strand coating covering the core strand body. Each core rope strand has a core rope strand body. The core rope strand assembly is covered with the resin core rope coating. A plurality of outer layer strands are stranded on the outer circumference of the core rope coating. An outer layer strand assembly is constituted of these outer layer strands. The outer layer strand assembly is covered with an outer layer resin coating.

PURPOSE: A rolling method of fiber cord is characterized by unifying a weaving step and a rolling step, not using weft, reducing a production cost, installing a guide comb bar capable of changing, arranging the fiber cord uniformly and increasing roll productivity. CONSTITUTION: A rolling method of fiber cord comprises: supplying the fiber cord from a creel stand(210); gathering the fiber cord to a position with a roller(220); arranging the fiber cord at regular intervals with a guide comb bar(230); covering an upper side and a lower side of the fiber cord with rubber with a coating roller(240); and then winding the fiber cord with a wind up roller(260).

PURPOSE: A steel cord for reinforcing a tire is provided to improve the strength of a tire and to reduce the thickness of a tire belt by rolling and compressing adjacent wires. CONSTITUTION: A steel cord(1) for reinforcing a tire is composed of plural wires(2). The wires are formed by the periodical twisting. The adjacent wires are compressed toward the rolled direction by rolling. The cross section of the wire is formed with a non-circular shape. The ratio of the long diameter about the short diameter is 1.1~3.0.
