A vehicle decklid system uses a planetary gear drive to move a decklid relative to a vehicle body. The planetary gear drive includes a rotatable gear that is disposed between two fixed gears. One fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the decklid and one fixed gear is rigidly mounted to the vehicle body. A rotating link connects centers of the rotatable gear and two fixed gears. The combination of the planetary gear drive and rotating link make it possible to provide powered complex, two-dimensional motion of the decklid requiring a four-bar linkage.

A drive system for regulating devices in motor vehicles comprising a housing containing a drive element of the regulating device, a disk armature motor provided with an armature disk, and a planet wheel transmission. Said planet wheel transmission comprises an internal geared wheel fixed to the housing and provided with an internal gear, an output internal geared wheel connected to the drive element of the regulating device and provided with an internal gear, and a radially flexible ring, the external gear thereof partially meshing with the inner gears of the internal geared wheel fixed to the housing and of the output internal geared wheel, and the inner envelope surface thereof rolling on rollers arranged on a drive hub connected to the armature disk. A journal pertaining to the output internal geared wheel is centred between the fixed drive axle and a cylinder of the drive hub.

An electromechanical actuator for a window lift mechanism including a plurality of motors for driving an output shaft. The actuator may be incorporated into a window lift mechanism including a dual rack and pinion assembly, for driving the pinions along the racks. According to another aspect of the invention there is provided a variety of anti-back-drive mechanisms, e.g. clutches. A clutch according to one embodiment includes locking pawls that resist back-drive. In another embodiment, locking cams rotate relative to a carrier to resist back-drive. An actuator consistent with the invention may incorporate an impact mechanism including a flexible carrier. The carrier flexes to prevent impact forces at an output gear train from coupling to an input gear train.

The object of this invention is to provide a hinge device for camera-equipped mobile phones, and a mobile phone having such a hinge device. The hinge device allows the fold of a mobile phone to be automatically opened or closed relative to the main body, and allows automatic rotation of a digital camera of the phone. The hinge device includes a fixed hinge part (130), a rotary hinge part (110), a power generating means provided in the fold to generate a rotating drive force, an internal rotor (106) provided in the rotary hinge part, a camera (104) provided in the internal rotor, a rotation stop means for stopping rotation of the internal rotor and rotating the rotary hinge part using the rotating drive force, and a power transmission means connected to both the power generating means and the fixed hinge part to selectively perform power transmission.

A drive includes a motor (5) and at least one gear assembly (7) that is connected downstream of the motor (5) for vehicles comprising a door (1) that can be closed automatically. The output shaft (28) of the gear assembly (7) is disengaged from the drive shaft (27) in such a way that during the manual actuation of the units connected to the output shaft (28), (e.g. tailgate of the vehicle,) their displacement is not restricted by the units connected to the drive shaft (27) of the coupling (e.g. electromotor (5) or intermediate gear (6)), thus preventing wear of the units. The gear assembly (7) can be disengaged and comprises a gear-assembly housing (21) with a cylindrical cavity (22), in which a planetary gear (23;38), provided with a housing (26;39) and concentric drive and output shafts (27,28), is rotatably mounted.
