PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method needing no specific apparatus as is capable of fixing a particulate to a solid surface within a moderate hour, capable of using a low price reagent, controlling easily a reaction, fixing even under an environment unavailable for light, producing at a low cost, and coating the particulate uniformly over a wide sphere. SOLUTION: This method for coating the particulate of a metal or a metal oxide on the surface of a solid material comprises contacting the solid material with the particulate in which the particulate of the metal or the metal oxide is bonded with a compound having at least two mercapto groups, under glare protection or irradiation of light excepting laser beams. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for chromatography, a carrier for pretreatment capable of preventing elimination of a hydrophobic field such as an octadecyl group even in an alkali condition, and having a separation performance not declining because of its undecomposability, a long carrier life, and low manufacturing cost because of its simple and short-time manufacturability, and its manufacturing kit. SOLUTION: This carrier for chromatography or this carrier for pretreatment is produced by coupling a carboxylic acid compound on the surface of a carrier material comprising a metal compound reactable with the carboxylic acid compound or a carrier material formed by covering the metal compound. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capped well plate which ensures the blockage using a cap in a simple structure and reduces the possibility that a capping plate member may lose touch with a well plate after blockage of the well plate using the capping plate member. SOLUTION: The capped well plate comprises a combination of a well member provided with a plurality of wells and a flexible capping plate member on which a plurality of caps for blocking each well individually are disposed correspondingly to the arrangement of the wells. Internal diameters of the wells are formed to be smaller than outer diameters of the caps so that the caps are pushed into the wells. The capping member is formed integrally with a plurality of caps coupled with a plate portion. Each of the caps is characterized in that the top edge has an opening area, the bottom portion is formed so that a needle is inserted, and the lateral surface has a vertical groove extending from the lower edge to the middle height. PURPOSE:To obtain a separating agent capable of separating enantiomer of salbutamol and atenolol and being inexpensive and stable to modification due to an organic solvent by binding a pepsin or a partially modified pepsin to a support. CONSTITUTION:This separating agent is obtained by binding a pepsin or a pepsin whose molecular structure is partially modified to a carrier. The pepsin is preferably obtained by purifying a protease contained in gastric juice of animals by fractionation, etc., using a precipitation absorbent consisting of safranine. Furthermore, a method for binding the pepsin to the carrier comprises e.g. activating an aminopropylsilica gel used as a carrier with a crosslinking agent consisting of N, N-disuccinimidylcarbonate and then binding the compound to the pepsin.

SOLUTION: The method is a method for separating a target substance in a sample by a chromatography unit including the stationary phase. The method has (A) a process for introducing the sample into the stationary phase, (B) a process for moving the first mobile phase along the first direction in the stationary phase, and (C) a process for moving the second mobile phase along the second direction in the stationary phase, and includes a process where the first direction is different from the second direction. SOLUTION: The methacrylic acid-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate copolymer is provided. The method for producing the methacrylic acid-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate copolymer is characterized by copolymerizing methacrylic acid with ethylene glycol dimethacrylate in an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution. The adsorbent or concentration medium comprises the copolymer. The injector loop used for chromatograph is charged with the adsorbent or the concentration medium. The injector for SPME is filled with the adsorbent or concentration medium. The kit for preparing analysis specimen comprises the injector for the SPME, a large volume syringe, and a small volume syringe.
