    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door opening regulation device capable of reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A sliding door opening regulation device according to the present invention prevents a sliding door 3A installed at an opening of a building from opening wider than a predetermined opening amount. A main unit 2 is attached to a case 1 set at the opening and a regulation member 4 is attached to the sliding door 3A. The main unit 2 comprises: a deadbolt 13; and a drive part 15 for moving the deadbolt 13. The deadbolt 13 is pressed to a flat cam 24 by a coil spring 14. A DC motor 16 of the drive part 15 operates to rotate a male screw member 23, which moves the flat cam 24 through a screw action. When the flat cam 24 moves, the deadbolt 13 protrudes to or retracts from the main unit 2. The regulation member 4 contacts the deadbolt 13 protruding from the main unit 2 to regulate the opening amount of the sliding door 3A.
