    Abstract: Una bisagra con accesorios, para mueble, que comprende una bisagra (H) del tipo de conexión o de codillo con un eje longitudinal principal y que tiene un brazo de bisagra soportado por un panel lateral del mueble y una cubeta (L) de bisagra soportada por una hoja de puerta del mueble, en la que el eje longitudinal principal de la bisagra del tipo de conexión biestable (H) coincide con un eje longitudinal principal del brazo de bisagra, y perpendicular a un eje de giro de la hoja del mueble, y un amortiguador de choques en línea (B2, B3) con un alojamiento, una barra (10) de pistón y un muelle de presión (52), caracterizada por que dicho amortiguador de choques (B) está dispuesto transversalmente a dicho eje longitudinal principal de la bisagra del tipo de conexión biestable (H) en la citada cubeta (L) de bisagra de la bisagra del tipo de conexión biestable (H) por medio de un soporte (D2) del citado amortiguador de choques (B2, B3), teniendo dicho amortiguador de choques en línea una aleta oscilable (3*) montada sobre el alojamiento de dicho amortiguador de choques en línea (B2, B3) y que coopera con el citado brazo de bisagra de dicha bisagra del tipo de conexión biestable (H), y una corredera o guía anular (8) integrada en el alojamiento (9) del amortiguador de choques en línea (B2, B3); en la que la barra (10) de pistón del amortiguador de choques en línea (B2, B3) está retenida por un segundo apoyo (5b*) del soporte (D2) y está inactiva, mientras que el alojamiento (9) del amortiguador de choques (B2, B3) es desplazable axialmente, no en rotación, guiado en un primer apoyo (5a*) del soporte (D2).

    Abstract: A piston and cylinder type damper is provided, with a cylinder (11) having a piston assembly (15) mounted for reciprocal movement therein. The piston assembly (15) divides the cylinder (11) into two separate chambers (12a, 12b), with a restricted flow path (30, 31) for passage therebetween of damping fluid contained within the cylinder. A piston rod (13) is mounted for reciprocal movement with respect to the cylinder (11) and acts via a first one of the chambers (12a) on the piston assembly (15) in a first direction. A seal assembly (17) is provided for sealing between the piston rod (13) and the cylinder (11) in order to retain damping fluid in the first chamber (12a). The seal assembly (17) is movable axially with respect to the cylinder (11), with the cylinder further including a centering device (24) for assisting alignment of the seal assembly (17).

    Abstract: A damper assembly for a hinge comprises a damping device 10 with a piston arranged to be movable within a cylinder 15 containing damping fluid, a retainer 11, 12 for mounting the device and a mechanism 18, 19 for converting rotational movement of the hinge into relative movement of the piston and the cylinder. The piston may be mounted on a piston rod 14 that has a free end extending out of the cylinder. The movement converting mechanism may be arranged to act on the cylinder at a position substantially outside the range of movement of the piston on its working stroke. The movement converting mechanism may include a camming surface on the cylinder. The damper may further comprise a resiliently deformable element 20 interposed in the line of the force transmitted to the damping device, and may form part of the movement converting mechanism.

    Abstract: A damper assembly 10 comprises a housing 11 which is mountable onto a piece of furniture such as a cupboard by means of an attachment device 13. A buffer 12 is mounted in the housing to provide a damped resistive force to a door of the cupboard on closing. The extent of the protrusion of the buffer out of the housing determines the magnitude of the resistive force applicable to the door and has a limiting formation which is adjustable by means of a rotatable collar (21 Fig 4). The limiting formation may be in the form of a camming surface (18 Fig 2b) and follower in the form of a lug (20 Fig 3). The buffer 12 may be a piston and cylinder dampening device with preferable spring biasing means. The damper assembly may also be mounted directly to the hinge assembly (Fig 12).
