    Abstract: The foot portion 1 of a display hook can be introduced into a slot 9 at an angle so that the arm 4 and the base 3 are presented first. When a twisting motion is applied on a carrying arm 6, to press the foot portion down into the slot 9, the spring-like arm 4 will bend to allow the rib 5 to move past the rim 10 of the slot and into a recess 11 whilst the arm 4 moves into a recess 12 on the other side. In the final locating condition where the display hook is held very securely against accidental removal or sideways displacement along the slot 9.

    Abstract: A device for use in the control of mechanical forces is provided.     Abstract: A technique is disclosed for sending and receiving documents between groups over a distributed computer network, which can include the Internet. The method includes receiving a message which includes a document from a member of a first group, the first message also including an indication of whether the document is send-able to other groups; sending a list of groups to the member of the first group to which the first member belongs if the indication indicates that the document is send-able to other groups; receiving a message which indicates that the document is to be sent to a second group; associating the document with the second group in a database; and storing the document in a database. There is only one version of document stored in the database at any one time. The user can create change, edit, or delete documents, and also allow or prohibit other users to send the documents to other groups.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method wherein a credit card sized memory card (16) having a magnetic storage medium (18) thereon can be inserted into an operative position adjacent to a read/write head (24), and the card and head can be moved relative to each other to permit the head to read data from or to write data on the magnetic medium of the memory card. In a first embodiment, a disk form (12) is provided like a hard disk but with a cut out portion or opening (14) therein into which the memory card is insertable. The disk form can then be rotated so that the magnetic medium on the card can be moved past the read/write head movable radially of the central axis (21) of the disk form. In another embodiment the memory card (102) is movable into a fixed operative position adjacent to a read/write head (106) and the head is movable radially as well as circumferentially so that the head and memory card are movable relative to each other in two degrees of freedom.

    Abstract: Particle collector apparatus 220 comprising collection vessel 210 having inlet 230, outlet 240, vacuum generating unit 10 connected to outlet 240. Vacuum unit 240 is powered by movement of a first fluid, producing an at least partial vacuum that induces flow of a second fluid in a first direction through vessel 210 from inlet 230 to outlet 240. Vacuum unit 10 may utilise the Coanda effect and the Bernoulli principle to produce vacuum. The first fluid may be compressed air. Collection vessel 210 may be an impactor or impinger. Apparatus 220 may comprise a second vacuum generating unit that induces a second flow of fluid through collection vessel 220 in the opposite direction to the first direction. A method of collecting particles entrained in a second fluid comprises providing the particle collector apparatus 220, providing a source of particles in fluid connection with inlet 230, providing a first fluid, and controlling the flow of the first fluid through vacuum unit 10 to suck particles from the source of particles into collection vessel 210.
