Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure and a connection method for electrode tabs and tab leads of a capacitor in which an effective area ratio of an electrode in the entire capacitor can be improved and a capacitor which is made more compact and more improves area efficiency than the prior arts, can be accomplished.SOLUTION: In a connection structure for electrode tabs 24, 28 and tab leads 26, 30 in a capacitor 10 comprising: a laminate electrode body 22 which is formed by laminating a plurality of negative electrode collector foils 14 and a plurality of positive electrode collector foils 18 via a separator 20; the electrode tabs 24, 28 extending from the negative electrode collector foils 14 and the positive electrode collector foils 18; and the tab leads 26, 30 connected with the electrode tabs 24, 28, a distal end portion 24a of the electrode tab 24 extending from the negative electrode collector foil 14 and a distal end portion of the tab lead 26 at a negative electrode side are connected while being erected substantially vertically, and a distal end portion 28a of the electrode tab 28 extending from the positive electrode collector foil 18 and a distal end portion of the tab lead 30 at a positive electrode side are connected while being erected substantially vertically.
