Abstract: A method of manufacturing tablet-type green tea by instantly granulating green tea powder and purified water in a fluidized bed granulator is provided to give green tea with good hardness and friability. Green tea leaf is ground in a grinder and classified into a size of 20 to 500mm. The obtained green tea powder is mixed with purified water and a binding agent and sprayed to give granular green tea powder with a moisture content of 5% or less.
